Sakshi could you please explain once again in very simple terms what this court case is about. I think most people don't even know this & unnecessarily getting panicky. What I'm aware of is that this is not about the eligible age for addimission in nursery.Please explain Thanks.

Mukta, from my limited understanding, this hearing is about the procedure of getting kids into KG next year. Will it be a simple promotion from Nursery or will the same admissions process be followed for KG as well?

@ Mukta ,According to ganguly report ,there should be only one class before 1st and that too at the age of 4yrs but schools are doing / taking at 3 yrs and 2 classes before 1st class

so in pil it is stated nusrsery shud be removed and 4 plus kg shud be entry level

We should never under-estimate schools. I think that even if court give verdict of 4years, schools stand to benefit in many ways.
1. They will assign extra points or make separate category for students passing from their pre-school.
2. Their pre-school / nursery wing will go out of the hands of DoE and they will be spared of taking EWS admission in Nursery.
3. Parents will have to go through the procedure twice, thus double torture.
4. As their are no guidelines in place for playschools, Nursery wings of established schools once detached, will ask higher fees, donations, compulsary prospectus and what not.

Hence, court should keep these points in mind and take guidance from experts and include parents participation before giving final judgement.

Shailesh ji, this is otta happen. That's why I'm saying that courts should consider all pros and cons before giving out verdict. One single verdict won't solve our problems. Delhi govt. should frame proper guidelines and rules so that parents are not harrassed every year like this.

It is now becoming evident now how and why court cases are dragged for years and years. They are taking so much of time in giving their verdict in such a simple logical issue then how can you expect them to solve the hard core criminal cases.
