Nursery/kg/1st |COMMON ADMISSION THREAD FOR SCHOOLS DECLARING ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR DELHI SCHOOLS FOR YEAR 2012-2013

Parents are requested to not put generic queries but contribute with admission details if they are aware of any school.This would help parent community only and not break the continuity.

AS WE ARE DOING THIS FROM LAST 3-4 YRS WE WOULD BE FOLLOWING THE MAIN TREND, THE ADMISSIONS INFORMATION WOULD ALSO BE AVAILABLE ON THE DELHI ADMISSION OPEN GROUP ALSO, AS SOME TIMES PARENTS ARE NOT ABLE TO LOCATE THIS THREAD

1 ) MAXFORT DWARKA did not include the points scored by the "selected" candidates
2 ) Seems that most of the "seleceted candidates" are girl child (very very few boy kids)

A general query, may be people who were involved or aware of admissions last year will be best placed to answer.
So many schools are giving seats but asking to pay X amount by Y date.
I just want to know how much sacrosanct are these dates?
Can one take some more time and give these dates a miss and then may be get back later, when interested?

x amount will be 2x after y date or by the time u decide. almost all schools are asking for upfront money.those who don't pay are not in list example maxfort.

No Jaspreet - dates are not flexible. There are 100 parent's waiting for the seat that has been offered to you .. even with double or more amount that's been asked for from you. If you feel the school is ok, and you are the majority General category, and are able to take up the X amount offer, go for it!

What are the 30 points for 'transfer' cases allocated for? as I understand, this is a pre-nursery admission. Does this mean students who are already doing nursery elsewhere and wants transfer to TIS ?? All (except the initial 10-12 candidates) are transfer cases with 30 extra points

Again our daughter has not been shortlisted. I don't know how much points she has procured and upto the cut-off points for shortlisted.
