Can you tell me which schools you did not apply in dwarka that are mediocre types and also which schools had preference for girls ..i mean max girls were selected !!

The only problem is that all schools r giving point to siblings n alumni..so there is no point for new parents to enter...Govt must fix few seats for siblings n alumni......so that others can get admission....

I had applied to 15 schools. Have not been selected in any of the schools. 6 out of these 15 are within 3 kms from my residence and 3 within 1 km. No hope even for 2nd list as schools are displaying waiting list also. To qualify for waiting list min score is around 50 points. with Parents like us who only have 30-45 points for Neighborhood & First Child in General Category, what are the options left?? Please help.

Rohit If you don't have any scope in wait list then TINKERBELLS preschool has very good reputation.

Dear Sumitji, I stay in South delhi & had applied in 26 schools out of which only Amity Intl is yet to declare their result. In rest 25 schools, my son has not been able to get a seat including my alma mater-Cambridge School where the cutoff for wait list closed at 30 points whereas I could only gather 27 points (Alumni-10, First born-10 , Distance-7). Today, I had also visited Global Indian Intl School in Noida (their ad banner keeps flashing on your website). Their building is under construction though they have huge plans for the future. Still, I'm not very sure whether I should admit my child there or not. Also, though they have mentioned that their curriculum has options of CBSEi, GCSE cambridge, IB etc but after interaction I came to know that they'll only follow CBSE here. So, in terms of course, it is not International school as such like DPS Intl, GD Goenka World School etc. Please advise as it's very critical situation.

Dear Amit,
Check amity's site with your login and password, they have declared the results. In my case its showing "not selected" :)

But as far as I'm aware, they were supposed to declare it on 6th (monday)...though even if they've declared the result, I'm 100% sure that my son's name is not there.

No, they haven't mentioned on their site and yes, I checked, even mine is not selected....so much for our last hope....though their site still says that first list will be declared on 6th :)

Dear Balraj....the main prob is that we dont have sufficient no.....what these schools r doing they r giving points of siblings n alumni.... for new parents who have only distance n first child no ..it is very difficult to get in....
