Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools
I would like your comments on this issues. In Europe and America, kids are not allowed to go for study before 3.5 years but in India all it starts at 2 years. It is wise to send such a tender child to school when child could not develop sufficient immune system. I abstained from sending my child from play school for various reasons including cost also which is not necessary. I have come to know that at the time of admission in nursery, schools counts on play school points. Do all the schools play school points criteria. My baby is exceptionally talented and she is grooming well at home in the company of her mother who is house wife.
Kindly suggest me whether I have taken a good decision for not sending my baby to play school.

website is fine but ultimately in India it will be A for apple and slanting lines. At 2 you require a place to be on your own, you observe, listen and learn. Any assistance is teaching and at 2 very personally I believe children should be on their own.
Hi,
I send my kid to play school when he was 2.5 years old and it seems to me that it was a right decision on our side because of following reason:
1. He enjoys going to school, so no anxiety or problem at the time of formal schools.
2. As my kid is the only child, so he gets the necessary peer group of his age in the play school.
3. As I belong to a middle class family, so cannot afford to have all toys/amusements(rides/ pool etc) available in the play school.
4. As in school, he gets a different environment, he has become more observant.
5. Able to celebrate all the festivals with maximum fun, which is not possible at home.
6. Gets enough place to play.
And as you and Ms. Sakshi highlighted, there is no mandate to send the kid to play school. So, the decision / reason can vary from child to child as every child has different needs. As of now, I am not aware of the fact that the formal schools count on play school points. Can some one validate it.
Regards,
If you can't afford the toys, I am sure you can not afford the fee either as these schools generally charge very high. One of the schools I know charges Rs. 1 lakh a year.
We can not have "all the toys" at our home that are available in the play school. We can have some of the toys but not all and in today's environment where we have such a small houses, it is difficult to store all the toys also.
NO Play school has "all the toys"
It is only place where kids play. They cannot become doctors there !!
2-3 years kids have short lived memories. In the evening, they don't remember what they have done in the morning. You ned to repeat things again and again for them to remember.
How many times have u asked ur child to say 'a for apple', for the child to remember? I am sure the child needs to hear it 100 times, for him/her to actually remember for life.
Today my both children going to Mother's pride play school. when I am studying I can't saw any play school. Without play school today I am engineer.I would like to tell you that its a game of money.
Dear Deepakji,
Today's world is not just only about becoming an engineer or a doctor but a well rounded individual, well informed, mixes well with peers and a good social being. Many playschools are into game of money but there are many who train your kids for the future in a good teacher to student ratio. Ultimately, even playschools hire professional teachers and have proper facilities and staff who need to be paid their salaries. With the Govt. already focusing on certain requirements for starting playschools, even they'll have to pay salaries as per the standard norms and will have to charge the parents, isn't it?
Really?
How many play schools have you visited?
Mothers pride - all teachers are not even graduates. They charge the teachers, who teach childrens.
Shemrork - again all teachers are not even graduates
Eurokids- a maid at ur home would be intelligent then their teachers
Teacher is the only one who can make a difference to the child. It is not necessary that a teacher has to teach in a school. Parents are the best teachers to their children.
A 18 year girl, who doesn't has a vision for herself, how can she take care of a 2-3 yr old child?
These play schools exist only because the Govt doesn't have any focus. A play school can even exist in room, flooding 100 children.
Sorry, but these school's do not exist everywhere.
That is why I recommend to list all the schools with their areas and publish their feedback.
Julia gabriel is a huge farce. How can u teach to 6 month old........
