From the discussions in this forum it seems to be that its kind of OK but one of my office colleage has suggested me not to apply for it as its kind of Mediocre or may be below that .

Could you do a ranking of the schools as per your opinion. There are a lot of conflicting opinions. A school teacher I spoke to said that VBS, BBS, Amity, Apeejay in that order. He said avoid Khaitan, should not be a choice at all. Many people are saying Khaitan is good. Someone says Kothari is good, someone says Kothari is bad.
Totally confused.

Any person who would prefer conventional schools will say that VBPS, Bal Bharti, DPS and Somerville are better. Amity, Apeejay are also in same bracket as they provide more emphasis on academics and have proven credentials.
Khaitan is probably suffering from the positioning problem as they try to project themselves as a new age school but the target market has better options than Khaitan. By Target market I mean--those parents with relatively high income, who want more emphasis on co-curricular activities, want professional atmosphere which means- swanky classrooms, interactive boards, good mannered front office staff, Bus Fleet going to every corner of NCR, communication through e mails etc
Therefore, Khaitan is always considered in middle....a second or third choice of both kind of parents (coventional or new age)
Kothari....I gave my opinion in reply to another query.
I want to add...I am only expressing my opinion and not trying to influence your decisions.

Its a average school. And now trying to make money. Fee structure has been revised. Around double to last year.
May be due to they are going to open "Cricket Academy" or AC classroom for nursery only.
It should be only last option

Hi Friends: What are your views on future prospects of DPS gautam buddha nagar (Noida expressway), and Sommerville international school located on 132 sector noida? Does they have potencial to become leading schools of noida in the time span of 5-6 years?

FYI for all parent:- Kothari International forms will be available upto 14th Sept.

I went to Kothari after reading a post in the forum that forms of Kothari are available only upto this friday, whereas when I called up them, I was told that 14th Sept is last date.
Now, there is another example of different schools following their own "different" style of functioning. I was told, If i buy the form today the last date of submission of form is this friday (7.9.12). I asked can I buy the form today & fill it by 14th sep. Answer was no, if buying today, fill by tomorrow.
I came back without buying the form and will buy in next week.
Somehow, the school location looked a little" unschool" like with stinking smell coming out of nearby nallah (may be due to rains) or may be I am used to seeing schools in big areas.
I did not want to fall in trap where my kid gets an early interaction and then I face the quandary of submitting the fee in next two days. So delaying form submission at Kothari.
