it says that The admission process will begin from January 1 and application forms will be available in the last week of December.
does it mean submission of forms will start from jan 1st and we will get only one week i.e last week of dec to buy the forms from different schools
@Kanika,This is article came last monday and was done in education times in TOI.Mr vohra only gave inputs of "orphan" being under EWS. At that time no confirmation was given by education minister. but yesterday Education Minister confirmed the form dates to commence from 1 jan 2013
yes form should be available online so that parents should not waste time standing in a long lines to collect the forms instead of standing in a line they can go to other schools to submit this can e time saving.one thing more if the child is 4+ then the child is eligible for nursery or for prep its big confusion as my girl child is 4+ what shld i do can kanika you or anyody ca suggest me
@Saurabh,Doe will be coming soon with upper cutoff age guidelines.but as of today its school specific where some schools like Shriram/Ahlcon public/Srijan gave extra point 4 yrs old for nursery admissions but in many schools like DPS etc 4yrs plus is eligible for KG and not nursery.
We are expecting guidelines of upper age by doe .
thanx sakshi mam for the reply now you mean to say that i shld wait for the guidelines for the 4+ age like i am residing in west delhi where i dnt have much option to choose from if i go little bit far then its a distance prob plus the age is also in my concern i am really worried and puzzled
Saurabh, I can understand but i think we will get the guidelines regarding upper age cut off soon else we will let you know the age criteria's of different schools.

thanx sakshi madam it will be gr8 help for me if you do this for us and i can provide you my mail id its tosho.india@gmail.com plz let me know abt the upper age cut-off list i will be highly greatful to you
@Saurabh,If you see above excel sheet for delhi ( you will find in many school age criteria is given , but i feel you should apply in nursery where no upper cutoff is mentioned.) else in KG
Yes if upper age guidelines comes then you need to follow that.
@Kanika: And especially when it is not difficult for the schools to implement this option and almost all the parents who would be applying to Delhi schools would be using or know how to use the internet.
@Amit: Welcome to the club. I would say the best thing one could do is shortlist the schools in which you want to apply and then further shortlist them according to your "realistic" chances of getting admission based on past guidelines such as neighborhood, alumni etc. Apply to those schools first and if you have time left go for the others on your list. Best of luck, we all are going to need it :).
Dear All
Many school would have online form if not all. You should apply max no of schools near to your home and just not only brands.
Get your Documents ready and plan some holidays from work as few schools would give forms on few days and for few hours.
