Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools
Dear Parents
The schools have been given full autonomy for admission criteria /point system
But parents should know
1- If you see point no 2..it says First List and Waiting list will come by 15 Feb- This does not mean all schools will come with their 1st list on 15 Feb but schools can come early also with 1st list in last week of JAN 2013 or 1st/2nd week of FEB but last date of displaying 1st list list+waiting list is 15 Feb .
2 Till last year schools had option to deviate from Common Admission Calendar but as mentioned in point no 3... All the schools have to give forms from 1Jan-15 Jan 2013... As last year many established and sought after schools gave forms only for few days .
3 Please see point no 8 - As we all know schools have to give 25 % quota to EWS . As per notification dated 28.02.2012 entry level seats (Nursery, KG, 1st) cannot be less than highest number of seats in previous 3 years in entry level classes . Normally to reduce EWS seats...many schools used to decrease the number of seats at entry level and (Read Nursery /KG) then used to fill the seats in senior classes but now they cannot do it ..as DOE has asked for the stats from all the schools few months ago. So THIS YEAR THIS MANIPULATION BY REDUCTION OF ENTRY LEVEL SEATS (TOTAL SEATS-GEN+EWS) CANNOT BE DONE BY SCHOOLS (ON PAPER AT LEAST)
REST THESE GUIDELINES ARE IN FAVOUR OF SCHOOLS :(

Dear Sunita
Thanks for your kind words !!
@Richa, your ques is very open. If you can be specific you will get helpful and pointed responses.
Dear Sumit really it is very good analysis of the DOE guideline. The guideline is in continence of guideline issued last year dated 16/12/2011 hence it looks very brief and the guideline issued in Dec 2011 is also a part of this guideline. Directorate had taken very safe stand while issuing guideline as they are well aware about various litigation pending before High Court and they did not wanted to provide any space for some one to approach the court. The guideline which is in fact for nursery, Kg and class I for all school even if school starts from nursery also and effect of clause 8 is very favorable to the parents seeking admission in KG and Class I. Parents who had left to catch the nursery admission train during last year is in very good position to get good school by virtue of clause 8 of this guideline.
Dear Khageshji
Thanks for the insight i am really thankful to you for clearing my doubts on legal issues 24/7 ~365 days.
Please be more active on forum in your free time as parent community is in panic mode and school lobby will again flout the guidelines.
You can guide all of us !!
Sumit Ji I am always with the parents here and appreciate and feel very happy to clarify the doubt if any is in my reach. I am very glad to be here and request parent community to have a vigil on the number of seats school declares as this part is very important for parents as the opportunity of getting admission increases once the number of seats increases. In the guideline they are mum on the grievance readrssal system but concerned deputy directors are competent to initiate appropriate steps. we request parent community to start a forum here for complaints of flouting guidelines. I will be regularly watching here to see the complaints and provide my advice as per my knowledge and capacity.
Thanks a ton sir for taking out time from your hectic schedule for parent community.
Khagesh Sir
We are grateful for selfless effort already taken regarding the entry level seats and highly appreciate your continuous participation. As you have said once grievance redressal system start functioning in full swing most of the problems will get solved and looking for a transparent admission process to happen.
Khagesh Sir
We parents are thankful to you for Clause 8 of the guidelines to happen. You started with a great research, fought and won the battle.
