They have mentioned KG (pre primary) Not Pre school (Nursery) and moreover its for last year 2012-2013 !!

Lancers does take 3+ kids into nursery as well, and they go to a different building ... err... bunglow in Prashant Vihar.

For some reason that does not come under nursery admissions so its free for all there.

Hi Sakshi...my son was born in Haryana and they dont write child name on birth certificate..and currently we are residing in Delhi for many years....so will DOB without child name will be accepted as it does contain mine and my wife name

@Sanjeev, Most of the schools will accept but few might not (every year schools comes with new guidelines) Better try getting it done.

Venkateswara global school, rohini http://www.vgs.co.in/admission.asp has mentioned following documents to be produced as residence proof

Residence  proof: A three month old and one latest  MTNL Landline phone bill/Electricity bill/Delhi Jal Board bill in the name of  father/mother only

I have none of them, bill is in the name of my father and no water bill is coming on my name since we are living in a CGHS society. I hope they are not rigid about the document for residence proof. Any idea?

@Neeraj, Your Voter Id /Aadhar/Latest passport should suffice

ATTESTED PHOTOCOPIES ( by govt. school principal: class 1 officer) of
1. date of birth certificate of the child
2. Aadhar card of the parents and the child
3. First child,girl child affidavit
4. Immunisation card with name and date of birth of the child

Is that all we need?
Other than the passport size photographs of the child and the parents

Also would like to know do we need a combined picture of the child n the parents,if yes then in what size

1 With name printed

2 Medical fitness certificate by your pediatrician (he would be knowing the format)

3 Some schools ask for family pic (size studio people know)

Thanks for the prompt reply sakshi.would further want to clarify,

1.attested photocopies of the birth certificate would do ( with name on it),no need to get multiple copies issued by MCD
2. Attested photocopy of firstchildgirl child would also suufice( unless otherwise name of the school needs to be mentioned),no need to get multiple affidavit made in the same format
3. Attestation by govt.school principal is valid

Please let me know if affidavit for the first both do we need to give originals in every school or photo copies will suffice.

Affidavits are asked for in originals usually. It hardly costs Rs 30 per affidavit. You will get one made, might as well get a few more done.
