Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

Admission Dates | Admission Criteria | Compare schools | Fee Details

The present nursery admission system have a large flaw which will come just the day after the nursery admission form is over.

A parent filling the form for a minimum of 10 school is very common. And I expect the headlines of news paper after jan 15 saying at least 15 times forms than available seats have been submitted in the schools this year.

For example if there are 25 schools with 1000 seats (average 40 general seats) in a locality and 1000 candidates for the race and I believe there is an average form submission of 10 per candidate the total no. of form submitted will be 10000. It means 10000 forms for 1000 seats which is a whopping 10 times whereas actually the no. of candidates are equal to the seats available.

This will naturally increase our anxiety level while benefiting schools to put pressure on parents.

You had write topic "

"Problems in Present Admission System and its Solution"

Amit,

There is a site coming live very soon.. and I think this is the way to go.. I have got this from one of my friend.. Please check..

This seems going live on 26th Jan 2013 as per their home page.. I would love to apply in 10 schools in just one click if they provide service like this..

Thanks
Sameer

hahah..

This is page created by school agents.. if you have to get admission they will provide you the rate list.. kindly pay as per rate list and get through the admission ..

Its common sense "what is the use of get it live after admission is close on 15th jan2013" and they are making the site live on 26th Jan 2013.

Seat are of Management Quota... I had no. of agents who are telling me if you dont get your child name in list.. pls call and use our services.

Natuarlly every problem has a solution. My suggestion in the aspect is that DOE should have centralized the system and would have given a unique registration no. to every student so that it would have been easy for them to identify the actual applicants. However now the time is too late and hope unless they take special pain for the same it is not possible. Afterall I wish all members of the site to give the solutions for the same.

Best Solution is " All parents have to take oath not to encourage the admission by Bribe or under seats of Management Quota".

Then gradually by time schools management will realize if they dont give admission their schools will remain empty hence they will start taking children on actual basis.

We are the parents who pay them extra money to confirm our seat and schools now realize this and caught hold the soft nerve of parents.

If this happens this is the best for everyone.. but unfortunately people throw money like anything for their kids admission..but as you said..I hope this happen some day..

I think best solution is to make education system govt. funded and owned. So there will no private schools, all schools will be govt. schools. There will be no competition between schools to give services and extra facilities. Which will make parents choice indifferent. You go to School A or School B all the schools will be same with similar facility and students from each and every background. Only this can solve this problem of nursery admission.

All the other solutions are useless.

@Neeraj Ji....Govt failed at all aspects of everything they did or do, how can we leave our children future in their hands. They have failed marvelously in providing quality education through govt schools and that’s why private schools are flourishing so well, they just passed their own responsibility of educating EWS to private schools blatantly. No denying that private schools got the land in low rates to build school so they must return the favor by educating poor free of cost. BUT is this the reality, can any school get land from govt just like that, how much black money must have been paid to get that piece of land and so we “general’ class will feel the heat by paying exorbitant fees to get bare basic facilities and education for our children. There are many others splendid failures of our beloved govt that I could showcase but there is no point. If they actually want reforms in education sector so that it will run fair and unbiased then they must think about getting the admissions done through centralized and computerized process having all checks and balances to detect malicious intent, such system must be monitored and build by a third party and all efforts must be done to keep it clean.

Well said.

Actually all schools in India are maintained by trusts who give an undertaking to the government that the school will be run in no loss no profit pattern. The trust is also shareany profit or dividend from the school with the investor. If they also want to wind up they have to handover all funds to a similar trust and cannot have any claim on it. For the purpose they also get several exemptions from government.

However practicality Government looses the control over it. Government should make it transparent the expenditure sheet of schools by putting it on public domain.

@Santosh Sahu ji....Is this really happened this way? Ground reality my friend is a lot different.

I am sure of the no profit nature of their business

Please read the below line

"First, in order to open a school, an association or a group of individuals has to be registered as a society under the Societies Recognition Act, 1860 or as a trust constituted under any law for the time being in force. This is to prove the “non profit’” motive of the society."
