Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

Admission Dates | Admission Criteria | Compare schools | Fee Details

The present nursery admission system have a large flaw which will come just the day after the nursery admission form is over.

A parent filling the form for a minimum of 10 school is very common. And I expect the headlines of news paper after jan 15 saying at least 15 times forms than available seats have been submitted in the schools this year.

For example if there are 25 schools with 1000 seats (average 40 general seats) in a locality and 1000 candidates for the race and I believe there is an average form submission of 10 per candidate the total no. of form submitted will be 10000. It means 10000 forms for 1000 seats which is a whopping 10 times whereas actually the no. of candidates are equal to the seats available.

This will naturally increase our anxiety level while benefiting schools to put pressure on parents.

Good thought but it is an ideal state which can never be achieved.

CAP - Centralized Admission Process is well supported on this forum. Also, I think that this proposal has been denied by authorities when it was forwarded by Mr. Sumit Vohra recently. Certainly it could be the best solution but it totally depends on the thought process behind building such system i.e. Do they actually want to have a corruption free, fair and unbiased system????

Before implementing this fee regulation of Schools is  a must.

Agree

@Manu Dhawan -  Ha ha , Sorry but I feel your comments are Hilarious as well as illogical.

1.  I think all this situation of nursery admission is arising because every one wants best school or a school that is perceived to be best.

2. Best School is one school where good facilities are given and where School Trustess give personalized attention on school and student development.

3. Reason of providing more facility and giving more focus is to earn more money.

4. If the money is out then all the usp's and advantages of best school will be gone. Poor teachers , poor infrastructure , no personalized attention Because no one is working for personal interest.

5. And see here you get another Govt. School. which we feel are bad schools with bad gentry.

So, the best solution is to make all schools Govt. Schools and then work on making this schools good.

                           OR

Let present system continue where you give premium for better school accordingly.

@ Manu Dhawan : You are already biased and unfair, As you are looking for thinks that will help you only , Your pocket is hurt so you are looking for CAP , BUT you are not looking for whole society. Each and every kid should get equal education despite of financial or educational background of the parent.

Agree with Mr Sahu on Centralised system thing. The centralised system should have form submission /doc etc at the designated DOE counters following uniform standards across. Same form no could be used by anyone to apply for any no of schools depending on the likes/dislikes of parents. Fees details etc should be available in advance for all schools and can vary depending on the school but should be transparently known to all.

IT SEEMS MR. NEERAJ GUPTA IS STUDIED IN GOVT SCHOOL..

BUT  HE FORGET`S THAT IN HIS TIME THERE WAS NOT PUBLIC SCHOOLS ARE THERE.. WAKE UP ..

MR NEERAJ GUPTA PLS ANSWER IN YES OR NO "ARE YOUR CHILD IS IN GOVT SCHOOL".

I SUPPORT MR MANU DHAWAN FOR THIS THOUGHT PROCESS IS SAME LIKE ME..

@Amit Sharma :  What difference it makes if I studied in Govt. School Or Public School or my kid study in Govt. school or Public. If you try to introspect a little using some brains , you will understand what I want to say.

@Amit : Please use some brain and read again what i want to say:

If you and I feel public schools are better than govt. We should understand that they are like that because somebodies(management) personal interest is aligned to the school. They are working to give better education. If its like that, why we are crying to give premium amount or donation or bribe for admissions.

If they don't earn money they wont strive to provide quality education and atmosphere.

If any other confusion please reply back.

Mr. Neeraj..... Just a request, this website is a good place for people to share thoughts and information. Different people have different way of interpreting a same thing, so even if you disagree with someone try to use mild words, many of us can do the same thing that you are doing but that will only destroy the sanity and decorum of this forum. So please understand that we are not politicians and this is not parliament. BTW, you are amazing.

Dear Manu Dhawan ji ,

I am sorry if you felt offended, But My intentions was not like that.

As you said this website is good place for people to share thoughts and information, So did I. But unfortunately your specific reply to my post(which was my thoughts and information) made it a kind of debate. Otherwise I would have never replied to your thoughts in such a sarcastic way. I feel strongly about my thoughts and logic so if that is questioned I have to reply back.

Again sorry if you feel offended.

@ Neeraj ji....Its ok..No issues..Well I like to debate till the point it seems productive....Your argument of bringing the education sector totally under govt control is valid and fruitful only if we have corruption free and efficient govt. Our history of governance since independence shows the miserable state of all the Governments we have had till today, so I can not trust govt. Regarding promoting CAP, my agenda is to remove lots of anomaly in the admissions system and the benefits it can provide, like:
(1) Stop misuse of EWS, if we can connect it to Aadhar and give EWS only to people receiving compensation from govt.
(2) Ease for parents, they would require to fill just one form. Also, in one way easy process for schools as well as they need not to collect forms, process it etc, though they will have to relinquish the control on admissions.
(3) No exploitation from schools, buying prospectus will no longer compulsory, and selling seats will be very difficult as everything will be with third party and traceable.
(4) Fair and unbiased admissions based on actual points earned on realistic criteria. (I don’t know what biased and unfair thing you saw in this process; this would be for whole society not just me.)
(5) Ensure admission to all the applicants.
(6) Online database can solve many problems, easy and quick access to required information.
(7) Cost saving, timely and fast process…..and many more benefits…..
There could be some Cons too, one I can think of is:-
(1) If the controlling authority is corrupt or under political influence then such a system will be a disaster.

@Neeraj,

I am using my brain that why neither i trust  not i dream like this about our Govt for what you are saying.

But i dont know why you are Dreaming so high abt our Corrupt Govt..

What makes you convinced that Govt can do such thing?

BTW, you are amazing.
