DPS Dwarka !

Can anyone let me know the schedule of events at DPS Dwarka post submission of DD against Registration fees?

1. When will be the first list displayed ?

2. When shall the admission process start ?

etc etc

School Website is not that clear to me.

DPS Dwarka procedure of coming of list is unfair i feel as A CHILD HAVING NO PREFERENCE OF "ALUMUS / SIBLING' has a utmost remote chance even if he/she is living in Dwarka sub region as the list of shortlisted candidates shall only focus on overall total.

Which inturn means Parents of Alumnus/Sibling living in/near dwarka were be the only ones coming in the first list of GENERAL category.

Can you let me know what was the minimum cut off last year.

As expected . 117 shortlisted for first list which contains either SIBLING or ALUMNUS.. what a BIAS ???

DPS wants DPS BLOOD only!! PATHETIC norm and rule..

ANOTHER UPDATE GOT A CALL FROM INDRAPRASHTRA FOR VERIFICATION OF DOCS 2MROW .... LET SEE THE OUTCOME..

Is Indraprastha Dwarka already inviting parents for verification of docs? Isnt their 1st list coming on 15th Feb? Pls clarify.

Hi Mam,

The first list of IP dwarka is supposed to be out on 15th feb, how come they are inviting parents for verification as you mentioned above.

Something fishy going on with IP Dwarka. How can they start calling people without declaring the list of folks who are having points above the set criteria. No transparency - seems the purpose is to extract money and sell seats. Any parent who attends please provide more info on whats goinf on during 'Verification'.

So agree with you. It seems, if you are not an alumnus, then your entire coming generations wont get through the shortlist of DPS. Your first child wont get admitted even if you stay across the road since you get only 30 points (25 for neighbourhood and 5 for first child) and the list stops at 45 points. you are not a transfereable govt employee either. and since your first child does not even get shortlisted, story would repeat when you try for your second. Truly they say "once a DPSiite always a DPSiite". noone can join their cult.
Marking for First child should definitely be more. The point system is UNFAIR.

Was going through the DpS list. Was able to scroll till 2200s and realised only 4 parents in Single Parent (5 points) category till that point and none were shortlisted. Most cases in transfer cases (carrying 10 points) not shortlisted either. Even in transfer cases 90% are 0 points. Special needs till 2200s all are 0 points. So should these categories not be seperated from general categories. This way all four would benefit. General category gets 20 points to be distributed across. And single parent, special needs categories get more limelight on standing apart and not be lost in the crowd.

Just a thought.
