Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools
I personally would not be in favour of Draw of Lots. I think most of us would agree that Siblings and Children in the Neighbourhood should get a preference. Draw of Lots will adversely affect admission of Siblings and Neighbourhood Children. If the High Court decides to quash the existing Points System recommended by the Ganguly Committee, then there will be no Categories, including Siblings, Alumni, Neighbourhood, etc. In fact, then there should not be any Reservation as well for EWS, Staff, Management Quota, etc. I don't think this problem is ever going to go away unless the Government and We in Society are able to bring up the Standards of Government Schools to that of Private Schools.
Welcome back,Very well said Mr Tauseef. If we are rational none of your points are invalid. Very sensible observation by our old member but what about people who Don't have good school near by.
I think If Distance is increased then we might be reach at some consensus.
Please read this thread and give us some suggestions which are acceptable to all, as i still remember you points used to be very rational last year

Dear Mr Mohammad
Yes i agree but how the point system can be not be discriminatory. Lottery is dependent on luck and what is the guarantee of getting the admission. Will the people advocating for lottery tell me ?
we need a system that is not discriminatory yes neighbourhood with increased distance ( else it also becomes Discriminatory)
I have applied around 15 Schools for my kid and we do not have any good Schools near by what we will do in that case. all scools are around 5 Above KMs
