After the first and waiting list .. it all depends on how much will you pay to get your child into school ? .. The Real admission process starts after first shortlisted and waiting list .. and we middle class people suffers a lot with that ... I have applied in 16 schools and no confirmation in any of the school so far "waiting / second / first" .. very disappointed with the Process. I hope God is somewhere looking at my child and blessed us with a seat in ANY school now :(

Even I applied in 15-20 schools but my child dint get his name in any of the schools bcos he is not a girl child,he is not d first child, even the neighborhood points were not 45 to give him admission, even Sanskriti dint give admission on the basis of sibling points so eben my child is not left for anywhere.This whole sustem of points is useless & hopeless.Most of the children haven't got admission anywhere.Pls suggest me what to do?

more or less same situation with me to. i am very embraced why should i do JOB and earning lots to give tax to the government. situation of mine is suicidal. not getting any opportunity in any of the school. and the worst part is my home is not having any good school near by 8 KM even.

Although we dont belong to EMS category still shelling out 15-20 L as donation is too much for anybody

Waiting list is already disclosed by most of the schools.... what about those whom name are not in that too.

This is true. We applied in ~ 10 schools - and yet the child's name did not figure in any of the schools. We live in Janak Puri and filled up most of the forms in Dwarka - where the maximum points were for distance. Most of the names in first list are for Dwarka kids only. There is almost no name from Janak Puri in Dwarka schools (we did not have any points for Almuni / Sibling). We got sibling points in Springdales Dhaula Kuan but lost out due low points in distance. Now we are struggling to get admission. Also, not sure what is the criteria for management quota. We have approached springdales Dhaula Kuan to understand what is criteria of Mgt Quota - but nobody is ready to even meet. Looking for help.

this point system should be completely abolished.... if not atleast remove the Alumni category from it. How many of us actually do anything for our school except attending alumni meet.....
My parents couldnt afford to send me to these high class reputed school, does that mean that i should not send my child also?????? Thankfully this criteria was not there when i was sent to school. Had it been there, i couldnt have entered a school even...

I think whose childrens are not getting nursery admission in Delhi there parent have leave delhi and go some other city so that they can get admission for First child.
