Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

I visited DAV Sec-14 today. They have L.KG and U.KG wing in a separate building near to main branch. The principal there was very interactive and personally took us on a tour. School timings are 7:30 to 12:30 and I think sufficient time for breaks and extra curricular activities.

Not too happy with DPS Sec-45. For Pre-nur and Nur its in sec-40, then they have Prep to class-3rd in sec-47 and finally after class-3 the child will join in sec-45.

GD Goenka, is doing quite a lot of marketing and calling up parents for admission. First they will take you on school tour, then only interaction with the Principal.
When asked about time devoted for extra-curicular, its about 30-45 min fornightly on each one of these. Honestly, I dont find it is justified when the fee includes all of these. At the same time, out of 3 hrs or so, how much time shall be actually devoted for acedemics as extra curricular time is not sufficient as such. so dropped from my list.

I am sharing the below information as it might be useful for some parents.

Today I visited SUNCITY WORLD SCHOOL.I really liked the school.The receptionist was quite polite.It's really a dream school for any parent.Infact I asked the Public Relation Officer directly about the incident which happened in school.She responded that they have changed the maid agency now.Also as heard with some parents Suncity forces children to perform put high pressure on them I calrified the same with them.PRO informed that we don't hit children to perform ,yes to educate children we emphasize on studies.School is CBSE till class 9.Afteronwards you can choose either CBSE or ICSE board you want to.Infact I found many parents visiting the school.For Pre-nursery timings are 9 to 12:20pm. Pre-Primary school timings are 8 to 12:20.Class I onwards timings are 8 to 2:20pm.School has nice infrastructure.Nice primary wing.Nice Labs.Auditorium is also awesome.Overall its a kind of dream school for any parent.

One time charges 1,60,000 including first quarter fees.

Quarterly Fees approx 33,000(including tranport charges Rs.3250 for month)

For people residing near Sec-54 it could be a consideration.Forms for SUNCITY will come from 22AUGUST.

I would have admitted my child there but distance is a big concern.Its more than 15km from my place.I have heard from some parents School is good in academics although school follow holistic approach.

What I felt I have mentioned above.Its just a personal view point.Rest is individual choice.

Nidhi, there student teacher ratio is 22:1 which I think is quite bad for pre nursery and nursery compared to other schools. They don't guarantee transport to any child. Another feedback which I have got from few parents is that they are very competitive. They rank students in every activity whether academics or non academics. Though it might be a good thing for few parents and students but not for all and definitely not such an young age when your child's confidence is being developed. That's my personal view.

Hi Sakshi thanks so much for the info. Do DAV follows the same timing in winters too? Also it wld be gr8 if you can share the fee structure of DAV and DPS pls

For winters, they timings are frim 8 to 1. The fee would be close to 75-80k inclusive of fee for 1st quarter. Quarterly fee would be around 20k including bus

Whatever feedback i got from net is that it is upcoming school,very soon it will be at par with amity and DPS in Gurgaon.

Any feedack on Amity Sec 43.I have heard that they dont provide bus for nursery batch.

My first pref is Amity.

Any inputs?

my son is 3rd oct 2010 born.he will be 3.6 on 3rd apil 2013.is he eligible to take admission in nursery in dav sector 14 for next session?what is admission procedure?
