Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Radhika - congrats.

I don't have much info about shiv Nadar. However, between suncity and SH, I believe you could look at following additional aspects for deciding -

- school environment: the kind of kids studying (e.g. Rich, middle class, working, business etc.), they way the students come across (arrogant, modest, sober...), how students are dressed etc etc.
- syllabus : both international but if you prefer cbse vs ices
- school performance : in acads or activities (sports) which r imp for u

In my personal pref I would opt for suncity, but I hear a lot of parents talking bat SH.

SH is IB curriculam till 5th std. Then you can opt for ICSE or IB etc. Transistion from IB to ICSE is very tough on the child. Do consider. Have spoken to couple of parents and they are finding it difficult to cope. They are spending 2-3 hours on studying everyday.

It 3.5 yrs but its experimental learning .so if you are convinced then only go .i was amazed to see vacancy in KG onwards till senior classes from last one month.

If its such a good school why parents leave that school from KG onwards( pls check website)

Hi all,

My daugther's DOB is 14th July 2010 and she is eligible for Nursery/LKG next year. We applied for DPS Sec-45, LVIS, Shalom Hills (Near Paras hospital) and DAV Sec-14. Not through in the draw at DPS Sec 45 and no calls yet from LVIS. DAV Sec-14 is too far for my child as we stay in Sec-56. I applied there just for the sake of it. Now we have got an interaction call from Shalom Hills. What do you parents/Sakshi think about this school which seem to be the only option left right now for us. Also, they have called us for an interaction for Shalom Presidency which we didn't apply for. What should I do now and how different is it from the Paras-wala Shalom school? If she gets through, should we take it or should we try again next year? Your help in this regard is much appreciated.

Saranya, They wud try to push you to take admission in Shalom Presidency as its new and upcoming, so they might b willing to fill seats der. But u can opt for the one near Paras Hosp.While Annual fee for Shalom wud be ard 1.6 lac, it wud b around 2.4 lac in presidency. So accordingly u can decide.

I went to the DAV Public School in Sec 14 to submit the application for the admission of my daughter to Pre-Nursery and they offered me a date for Interaction session? I had heard that they were doing the admission based on point system. Is this their normal criteria for pre-nursery?

Hi Vikas....I guess for Pre-nursery, they are having interaction and for LKG only they are using point system
