Both Apeejay saket and Sheikh sarai have closed their admissin process by 14th jan. Full fee would be refunded if cancelled by 31 jan . After that 40% would be refunded. We went there and asked them personally also that despite DOE guidelines, how can they close the provess on 14 jan. They answered 'thats how it is'. Also they charged rs 400 each for admission forms . I think highest amount that i paid amongst all the schools. All in all , they are just a money making machine. Wish DOE gives them a good one

we are raising the issue as two parents having 65 point ..one got admission other didnot( already media has been told are you ready to talk to media ?) !!

I got a call from the Sector 10 branch for an interaction. When I visited them, they told me the interactions have been cancelled because they will be selecting candidates basis points. They told us since we are here, they will look at the form and let us know. She found the registration form to tell me my kid was not selected. When my husband tried to check for what was the cutoff or what was the basis, they were rude and kept saying basis their parameters,she is not selected,. He demanded to speak to the headmistress.The headmistress told us they had reworked their point system and it was not the same as what was communicated!!!!! How ridiculous is that!! And the reason she was not selected was because she was too young according to them. My husband told her that according to DOE guidelines she is eligible to which she thought my child will not be successful if admitted rite now. If DOE has put in certain criterias, why are we de selecting candidates basis that??
I am SHOCKED because -
1. I pay Rs 400 for a form for a school who fool me by putting in parameters which is actually not their basis of selecting candidates.
2.The school feel it is ok to change parameters without intimating anyone.
3.The staff is not clear about the criterias and is rude when questioned. They feel it is fine to treat you as a piece of shit.
4.When my husband asked why he was charged Rs 400 for the form, the headmistress lies that she sold forms for Rs 25/-. They are blatantly and openly abusing the system.
5. After this discussion(read argument), the headmistress says that she would keep our form aside and will call us if there are dropouts.
After all the drama, we are pretty convinced that we do not want our child to study in this school even if they call us again. We believe the most important part of a school is to instill a certain values system in the kid which I am not sure I will be able to achieve with this school.

Complaint regarding VIS-10 Dwarka. They have neither displayed any list as per point based system nor called upon parents for interaction (as per their original procedure). They are not letting parents go inside to speak to the concerned authority, we are returned by security guard from the gate itself. They are clearly violating DOE guidelines in not being transparent to the admission procedure. If the points based system is followed, they should clearly have list of all registered applicants in descending order of points, their management can only answer this. Webmaster, any help in this regard.

Appejay school called me up to inform my son who was earlier in waiting list now has been selected and we will have to submit fees by tuesday(19-01-2010). Which I think is very unfair, as most of the other school which I would prefer over this one will declare their results on 1st feb. I feel that parents sholud be have chance tosee all the results and then decide which school will be best for their wards and then pay fees. This is fair system and will help those who are in waiting list of the different schools.

We are also sailing in the same boat. Can these schools show some respect to parents? When we asked VIS KIDS the cut off pts, the reply was management has decided the list and can't disclose.
It's such a disgrace how can these schools treat parents like this.

inspite of so much hype in the media by parents regarding violation of DOE norms, few schools are still coming out with admission lists before 1 feb. VGS, rohini calling parents to come and deposit 50 k + 25 k ASAP.?? Parents are really in a fix? whether to deposit such a big amount or wait for other school lists to come out.!! no choice left!
Please help and suggest?

We got srijan results postponed if they have takenpermissions from doe then no one can doe anything but

My daughter got selected in Apeejay pitampura. We were called for verification of documents. I have verified all documents except my B.E Degree.
I had passed out B.E in 1994. I have all my original marksheets , provisional certificate from college. I informed them , but they are not willing to consider it.
I even went to my University . They told me that it will take 4 months to dispatch my degree and it will come by registerd post.
I also got undertaking from my University that I have passed out B.E in 1994 and has applied for my degree and it will take some time to dispatch. It was signed by Registrar , stamped on University letter head.
Still school Authority is not considering my case.
Sumitji is there any way to raise voice against it.

Results declared were only form numbers. No other details were presented. don't we deserve to see the points we have secured and compare it with candidates who are selected have secured. More importantly on what grounds they have been selected would have been transparent. I am 100% sure my name would not have been thr as i did not have anything other thn distance points to bank on. still it gives us lot of satisfaction when we see only genuine/deserving are in. and no back door... now if you say for ex. form no. XXX is IN. can anyone make out if he is any different from us. may be he is dauhter of MR. so & so...
Even while seling the forms they did not mentioned the point distribution which i suppose is mandatory by DOE....

Hello
I had also applied for my son's admission but did not get a call. I tried to check from the school at the reception but she did not give me the points criteria as well as the reason why my kid was not selected.
