नर्सरी एडमिशन को लेकर आपके मन में कोई भी सवाल हो, तो हमसे पूछिए...•विस, नई दिल्ली : प्राइवेट स्कूलों की संस्था नैशनल प्रोग्रेसिव स्कूल कॉन्फ्रेंस (एनपीएससी) की ओर से शुक्रवार को उपराज्यपाल को एक ज्ञापन सौंपा गया। इसमें पुरानी गाइडलाइंस को जारी रखने की मांग की गई है।
एनपीएससी की चेयरमैन अमिता एम. वॉटल का कहना है कि डिस्टेंस के 70 पॉइंट होने से पैरंट्स भी नाराज हैं। जिन इलाकों में बहुत कम स्कूल हैं, वहां बच्चों का एडमिशन कैसे होगा। दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी के आसपास स्कूलों की संख्या बहुत कम है और उन कॉलोनियों के बच्चों को पूसा रोड के स्कूलों में एडमिशन मिल सकता था, लेकिन अब उन कॉलोनियों में रहने वाले पैरंट्स 6 किमी के दायरे में नहीं आएंगे। ऐसे में पैरंट्स की मुश्किलें बढ़ने वाली हैं। चेयरमैन का कहना है कि अब एलजी के फैसले का इंतजार किया जाएगा और उसके बाद ही रणनीति बनाई जाएगी।
प्राइवेट स्कूलों की अलग-अलग असोसिएशन ने साफ कर दिया है कि अगर नई गाइडलाइंस को वापस नहीं लिया गया, तो एडमिशन प्रोसेस को रोका भी जा सकता है। कोर्ट में जाने का ऑप्शन भी है।

नर्सरी एडमिशन की नई गाइडलाइंस का प्राइवेट स्कूल विरोध कर रहे हैं। डिस्टेंस फैक्टर को लेकर पैरंट्स टेंशन में हैं। गाइडलाइंस के मुताबिक, 0-6 किमी की दूरी पर रहने वाले बच्चों को 70 पॉइंट मिलेंगे, लेकिन 6 किमी की कैलक्युलेशन कैसे की जाएगी, यह बड़ा सवाल है।
स्कूलों का मानना है कि डिस्टेंस के ज्यादा पॉइंट होने से एडमिशन को लेकर परेशानी बढ़ेगी और पैरंट्स की शिकायतें भी कई गुना बढ़ जाएंगी। नए आदेश में कहा गया है कि 6 किमी के दायरे में कौन-कौन सी कॉलोनियां आती हैं, इसका फैसला या तो एरियल डिस्टेंस के जरिए किया जाए या फिर रोड डिस्टेंस को बेस बनाया जाए। लेकिन स्कूलों का मानना है कि डिस्टेंस को लेकर कोई तय पैमाना नहीं है और ऐसे में स्कूलों के सामने बड़ा चैलेंज है। पिछले साल तक अकेले डिस्टेंस के पॉइंट के बेस पर एडमिशन तय नहीं होता था, लेकिन इस बार नेबरहुड कैटिगरी के 70 पॉइंट हैं। इन्हें हासिल करने वालों के पास बच्चे के एडमिशन का बेहतर चांस होगा।
एडमिशन नर्सरी डॉट कॉम के फाउंडर सुमित वोहरा मानते हैं कि डिस्टेंस की कैलक्युलेशन गूगल मैप के जरिए होनी चाहिए और बहुत से स्कूल इस प्रोसेस को फॉलो भी करते हैं। निदेशालय को गूगल मैप को लेकर ही सर्कुलर जारी करना चाहिए, ताकि सभी स्कूलों में एक जैसा नियम हो। वह कहते हैं कि ऐसे स्कूलों की कमी नहीं होगी, जो स्कूल बस के जरिए डिस्टेंस की कैलक्युलेशन करेंगे या फिर डीटीसी बस रूट को देखेंगे। लेकिन रोड डिस्टेंस को लेकर अलग- अलग रीडिंग आ सकती है।
बाल भारती पब्लिक स्कूल के प्रिंसिपल एल. वी. सहगल का कहना है कि पिछले सालों के अनुभव को देखें तो यह सामने आया है कि एक रोड के एक तरफ की कॉलोनी तो तय नियमों के मुताबिक, 6 किमी के दायरे में आ सकती है और दूसरी तरफ की कॉलोनी नहीं आती। ऐसे में पैरंट्स सवाल उठाएंगे कि एक ही रोड के दोनों तरफ की कॉलोनियों में अंतर कैसे हो सकता है। इसके अलावा डिस्टेंस की कैलक्युलेशन को लेकर कोई विश्वसनीय नियम नहीं हैं और स्कूल कॉलोनियों की लिस्ट कैसे तैयार करेंगे। वह कहते हैं कि अगर 6.1 किमी भी दूरी हुई तो उस बच्चे का स्कूल में एडमिशन बहुत मुश्किल होगा।
यही कारण है कि स्कूल डिस्टेंस के 70 पॉइंट का विरोध कर रहे हैं। किसी भी एडमिशन क्राइटेरिया में एक कैटिगरी को इतने ज्यादा पॉइंट नहीं दिए जाने चाहिए। ज्यादा से ज्यादा स्टूडेंट्स को ऑप्शन मिलना चाहिए।
सहगल के मुताबिक, पहले के नियमों में पैरंट्स आसानी से अंदाजा लगा सकते थे कि उनके कितने पॉइंट बन रहे हैं। इस बार डिस्टेंस के 70 पॉइंट हैं और यह तय है कि एक जैसे पॉइंट पर बहुत ज्यादा बच्चे होंगे और एडमिशन का फैसला लॉटरी से ही करना पड़ेगा। ऐसे में पैरंट्स को अंदाजा नहीं लग पाएगा।

Sir, this is a very good suggestion. But in google MAP also we can change route and it provides different distances for different routes.
As per my understanding the given suggestion of distance calculation is fine but it should be published before starting Admission Process. Respective LG also suggested the same but he has not restricted that. There should be some monitoring/review on this also. Otherwise this rule will only be a rule and schools will use it in a way they want to use.
Rather there should be an annexure with Admission form or their prospectus for 6 Kms areas covered in it.

Yes School have to give area through Google Maps before hand covering max area.

How we can ensure our form is selected and kept as part of draw?
I have just checked 6 Kms radius covers a very large area. We all are depending on luck....
As per my understanding from news.. they have decided to give 70 points fixed for all the childs with in 6 Kms. there is no other bifurcation in that. Please correct me if I am wrong.

yes at least removal of mgmt quota would be a good relief. This is not because of money this is because there was no limit in demand.. I heard some schools was asking for 7 Lacs...
I am staying in Rampura DDA Flats North Delhi and I heard some schools in Ashok Vihar doesn't consider this area for admission. I was also worried but now they had to consider in any case.
If fair distance calculation will be done, 6 kms radius covers a very big area... Now it depends on luck of parent and child :)

No sir, I think its management who asks for money. We cannot blame on school education because when we talks about school it covers all staff including teachers. I think a school gets fame because of education and culture only and if any school is famous in our area that means education and culture would definitely be good there.
If management quota will open, it will only be opened for money. This is not understandable why there should be management quota?

DPS RK Puram has used Radial Distance System for last year admissions for different class' ... It can be checked at http://www.dpsrkp.net/admission/2013-14/area/dpseok_area.asp. This is fair & transparent system... All Schools should follow same thing ... Comments from Seniors /Moderators welcome...
