requesting Mr.Vohra, pls write to Mr.Manish Sisodia, Min for edu, Delhi Govt

Many Thanks to Sakshi ji and mr. Sumit for raising parents' concerns. I, as a parent, am still scared abt my daughter's admission. It is not clear how well and how honestly will the guidelines be followed. Common people like us who have no big say are still worried abt schools' intentions and actual implementation of the rules. How transparent and judicious the process will be, only time will tell. But sincere thanks to sakshi ji and Mr sumit for all your efforts.

Surprising to find this link is not there on the website Admission tab....

Although I agree that these are flouting of rules straightaway, but is it only me that points distribution KM wise sounds much better rather than either 70 or 0?

I second Yash's opinion. I too feel that KM wise points distribution is much better than the current 70 or 0 criteria. I come from an area which does not have any good schools within 10 kms (road distance). Where should I take my kids?

I also agree that KM wise distribution of points sounds much better idea than either 70 or 0.

nothing as such on dere web

might be they have changed it

Hope this will be a lesson to other schools too. Mr.Vohra has never let any schools to flout the guidelines. Apart from distance this was another school in Dwarka who gave points for transferable job till last year. Even this year they generally mentioned transfer case and no definition for that. But the DOE guidelines states "Inter-State Transfer points" - 5 points.

again & again i am telling what will happen to parents if this kind of flouting of rules happen during 15th Jan 13 - 31st Jan 2013 & during final declaration on 28th Feb 2013.

I again want to bring yet another important issue..... most of the school sells prospectus which costs around Rs. 250-Rs.300 during admission process, suppose if  a parent applies in 10 schools he needs to spend Rs. 2500-Rs.3000 alone, stating that it is required to know about the school & its functions & management.

As per RTE Act no school can force an parents to buy these prospectus only Rs. 25/- should be charged for application form giving details of what the documents needs to be deposited with the form. Kindly bring this fact to all the parents

regards
