Schools asking for documents other than list provided by DOE

Hi

Tagore International has not listed electricity/telephone bill in list of documents acceptable as address proof.

Also they have mentioned that Parent should be staying at address for at least one year.

Can schools set such conditions?

"Some of indicative documents which can be considered as proof of residence of parents / child are those displayed. (The list is not exhaustive & other documents can also be added by school.

But 1 year compulsory is not mentioned.

Min rule of 6 months they can ask -max but no guidelines on this by doe
