ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2013-14

The admission process has been designed to ensure transparency and equal opportunity to all applicants. In case an applicant does not secure admission due to of seats, it is in no way a reflection of the child or parent’s calibre.

Criteria for admission to Pre-School

Age Eligibility: 3+ as on 31st March 2013

Total number of Seats for Pre-School – 90

50% Seats available for General Category – 45

25% Seats available for Economically Weaker Section & disadvantaged group – 22

25% Seats available for Management Quota – 23

  • In case seats of any category are not filled, seats will be allotted to General Category
  • List will be displayed on the school website and School Notice Board
  • Incomplete duplicate forms will be rejected. Please note that in case of any misrepresentation the registration will be considered cancelled.
  • Final admission is subject to verification of the following documents to be produced in Original along with the Photocopies.
  • Transport facility available for Pre-school and Pre-Primary students
  • Distance to school will be calculated on actual distance

EWS & DISADVANTAGED GROUP
25% of the total available seats mandated under the RTE Act will be offered to EWS &
Disadvantaged Group (OBC, SC/ST, children with special needs & Orphans) Category. Children
under this category will be selected purely on the basis of neighbourhood criteria as per the
directions of Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. In case the number of applications exceeds the number
of seats available, there will be a draw of lots to select the candidates. All eligible candidates who
fulfill the criteria prescribed by the government can apply through the Common Application Form
for admission under freeship quota. The form is available on www.edudel.nic.in and a hard copy
of the same can also be procured from the school office as per schedule.
SCHOOL MANAGEMENT’S DISCRETIONARY QUOTA
Under the permission of the Delhi Government, 20% seats are reserved for the management of
the school. The management is free to offer these seats at their discretion.
OTHER CATEGORIES
In accordance with the guidelines issued by the government and keeping in view the ethos and
philosophy of the Modern School, admission under other categories (except School
Management’s Discretionary Quota) will be based on the neighbourhood criteria. Preference will
be given to children residing within one kilometre radius of the school.

AVAILABILITY AND SUBMISSION OF FORMS

Application Forms will be available from 1st January 2013 to 15th January 2013.

The Common Application Form for the Admission under EWS & Disadvantage Group Category (RTE Act 2009) prescribed by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi will be made available for parents applying under Freeship Quota at the School Office on the dates mentioned above. The form can also be downloaded from www.edudel.nic.in.
• Forms in respect of all other categories will be available on the school website www.rsjms.com on the dates mentioned above. The same could be downloaded and completed.
• Duly completed application forms for all categories will be accepted in the School Office
as under (for administrative as well as public convenience):

by the Managing Committee of the School as per DoE Order No. F.DE./ACT/2012/6022-35 dated

The Supporting Documents for Economically Weaker Section and Disadvantaged Group was

List of documents to be submitted at the time of verification

  • For Neighbourhood Criteria: You will be required to submit Residence Proof, such as Aadhar Card/Copy of Passport/Voter ID Card/Election I. Card
  • In case of Alumnus Board Mark sheet of class X/XII or School Leaving Certificate.
  • Proof in support of claim made for Gujarati/Sibling category.
  • Proof/supporting documents for any other claim(s) made in the Application Form (photocopies only) duly attested by Gazetted Officer.

Important Points
  • EWS/Disadvantaged Group/Orphans forms will be available from 1st January, 2013 to 15th January, 2013, in the School. The last date of submission of form is 15th January, 2013 till 12:00 noon. Counter will be closed on Sundays.
  • EWS/Disadvantaged Group/Orphans need not fill the form online.
  • Read all instructions carefully before you start filling the form.
  • Incomplete/incorrectly filled forms will be rejected.
  • A list of residential colonies and their distance from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya is available for your convenience. Please check before filling in the distance criteria.
  • The receipt of online application forms will close at 12 noon on 15th, January 2013.
  • All fields are mandatory. The system will not accept the form if the mandatory fields are not filled. The system will prompt for mandatory fields that have not been filled for you to fill and re-submit.
  • There are fields available as drop down boxes. In these fields, please select the data as applicable to you.
  • There are fields available as check boxes. In these fields, please place a tick mark against the data applicable to you.
  • The information about short listing and scheduling for verification will be intimated to the parents by the school via email and on website.
  • After filling the form, we advise you to go through the details once again and if all details are correctly filled, press the ' Submit Form' button. If you wish to erase old information, click on the data and retype / reselect the correct information.
  • Payment for REGISTRATION can be made vide CASH at the school premises. A copy of the receipt will be emailed to you as a proof of registration of your form after the payment of Rs. 25/- has been made.
  • Once the form has been submitted and accepted by the system you cannot make any changes to it.
  • Once you have filled and submitted the form online, you need to take a print out of the form and receipt displayed after submission. This form bears a TEMPORARY NUMBER starting with 'TSPV..'. You are advised to retain a printed copy of the receipt, as this TEMPORARY NUMBER would be required for generation of receipt with REGISTRATION NUMBER at a later stage after the payment has been made for a total amount equivalent to sum of Rs. 25/- (REGISTRATION).
  • MGRM Net will not be responsible for the Payments not received against a TEMPORARY NUMBER
  • Please note that the TEMPORARY NUMBER is not eligible for short listing / selection process. Only the REGISTRATION NUMBER received after making a payment at the school premises will be eligible for the same.
  • Deposit Registration Fee at the School Premises on all working days (between 9:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m from 03rd January to 14th January 2013 & on 15th January from 9:30 a.m to 4:00 p.m). Fee counter will be closed on Sundays.
  • Parents submitting the form online should keep the documents required for verification (mentioned above) ready with them for verification when called.
  • Please carry a photograph of the Parents/Guardian and Applicant along with you if you are invited for verification, as these would be required to be pasted on the form.
  • Please ensure that you provide authentic details while filling up the application form, as these would be verified at the time of personal interaction at the school.
  • Submission of duplicate forms should be avoided as it will attract inconsistent responses
  • The applicants shall be charged as under for online registration:
    • Registration Fee: Rs 25/-
  • After reading the procedure on this page, Click on " I Accept " button to view the ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM.
  • Fill the form with required information. At the end of the form, there is a "Submit Form" button. Click on the button once only. It takes time for the computer to process the information. On pressing "Submit Form", the information you have provided shall be taken into our system. If any information is not provided by you, the system shall return the form to you, prompting you to fill in the same.
  • Following completion of the form, you will be given a TEMPORARY NUMBER
  • Once the payment has been made by you at the school premises, a receipt with your REGISTRATION NUMBER will be generated and emailed to you. This REGISTRATION NUMBER is your proof that your registration form has been received by the school. You can take a print of the same. Kindly note the REGISTRATION NUMBER for further communication.
  • The list of the applicants invited for verification will be displayed on the school website and on the school notice board.

Tremendous job you people are doing . Just want to confirm if there is any news about RD Rajpal, Basava Intl, VIS-Sec 10, Mt Carmel (All Dwarka). Nothing on their website.

I have been recently Trfd to Dwarka (Dec 12), and ur website has been of great help to me.

An affidavit is an option. The notary guys would have the template/wordings you need.

Just go there and tell them your requirement, ithin Rs30 you would get it.
