Regarding revised faq's on twins what i understand is that initially no points would be given for twins under sibling category. Only if one of the twin gets admission, the other would be "considered under sibling category"

But after draw of lots is over how would the other twin be "considered under sibling category".

The clarification would have made sense if it had been decided to automatically get the second child admitted.

Today at one reputed School I saw a long queue of parents submitting forms but getting no acknowledgement for submission of form. How can transparency be ensured?

Hi, Loreto Convent also has an upper age limit for prep class.Only Children turning 4 by 31st March2014 can apply..

It's for KG admission and minimum age 4+.

Congratulations and Thanks to Mr.Sumit Vohra! You have taken great efforts in behalf of parent community to make the system more transparent. Transparency in draw of lots, admission for Twins, Calendar Period for inter-state transfer, and clearance against Parent-alumni category all happened due to your individual effort.

Thanks to DOE and Education Minister who are there to hear our problems and taking corrective measures regarding admission process.

Thanks Mr. Vohra & team and the DoE who is working hard to safe guard parents and making the ways for clean methods of starting the Education of a child.

From the 'Draw of Lots' - I have a query-

How would one make sure that all the applications for admission have been put in the 'jar' for the Lucky Draw? Who will be monitoring this - parents or govt?

Does schools have instructions to put the list of applicants, form numbers on the board/website before starting the process of lots and to display officially that they have excess of applications.
