YA THANKS

But is it compulsory? As per the school's website, it is not! Someone please confirm.

Looking at this all parents with 70 points will not even get a chance at the lottery, Not Fair. Not sure the reason for Transfer Cases for Nursery as Child has never been admitted so how doe it matter. Moreover the Alumni is another Unfair practice. To me only Sibling is one practice which should get points (As it's good for both parents and child studying in same school) rest all points carry no value. Hard Luck but seems my child is not even getting participated in the lottery draw (At 70 points), forget about he being getting lucky.

Amit Gaba, few more reasons to call these guidelines flop by me. It seems were prepared without proper analysis.

request to all the parents out here ... lets put absolute pointers out here which would point the flaws in the forms submitted ingenuinely ( transfer / sibling ) so as to get these erring ones out of the list ... ITS UNBELIEVABLE TO KNOW THAT PARENTS ARE READY TO RESORT TO UNFAIR MEANS BY FUDGING DATA FOR DISTANCE / TRANSFER AND SIBLING JUST TO SECURE A SEAT FOR THEIR LITTLE ONES .. what is the learning they are trying to impart at this ripe age to their kids ??

THIS IS SHAMEFUL AND BLATANT VIOLATION OF DOE GUIDELINES .. MR VOHRA -- Request your earnest intervention on this to get the erring ones  brought to book .. PLEASE !!

How to check fake transfer cases ....as majority of applicants may apply through fake certificates

You are right.....print a certificate.....get an admission..
..be true n get screwed

Lathaa Ma'am..The current system is not promising for the first timers at all.. The analysis clearly indicates that the first borns will have to go to either new international schools charging exorbitant fees with smaller playgrounds and AC buildings or into not so sought after schools in everyone's respective areas.. Every parent wants that their kids should go to sought after schools in their areas.. This system has given assurance to all those parents who may have paid donations in past years for their first child and now the second child will get through easily.. School and atmosphere at home has 1:1 role in the upbringing.. Please suggest something for the parents of first born.. This is such a difficult situation for all parents like us..

On going through the maps of dps eok and vv, I have observed that there are many areas which are common. It may b possible that the parents have applied in both the branches.....so there may be possibility that one kid got selected in both the schools and such probability is high......what will happen to such seats which got vacant in this kind of cases. Will school authorities take care of this duplication before draw or a picture will be clear after declaration of first list....Sakshi, lathaa kindly throw some light on this issue

There is 1 key difference - areas with large population chunk which may not not be in common. e.g.,Vasant Kunj kids were excluded from EOK but could apply at RKP and that will offset most of the duplication advantage u r looking fwd to.

The point you raise above on duplicate lists of EOK and VV is correct. I think all selected parents should be called for verification of documents and then, given a choice to opt for one of the 2 schools. That way, lots more seats will open up because most of the applicants getting selected are common. That may also ensure 70 points getting into lottery, I think.

Vivek, there will be more lists after the first one because few parents may not take admission in or the other as per their choice of merit. Separate staff will be carrying out scrutiny/verification of both the branches. So doesn't matter opting for one or the other.
