I AGREE WITH YOU Rigved Sen. it is totally disappointing.Even Alumni category is wrong,instead there should have been Ist born child category,that can never be fake and will give many people chance to enter into the draw atleast..

I too agree .quota can b made for transfer cases .sibling is genuine..alumni to sum extent okey..in addition first time points shold also b given...
I know how much tensn i am going through

DPS Mathura Road, No chance for 70 pts. Even draw of lots will be there for 75 points. 244 applicants scored 75 pts. Very tight position around 80 seats for 244 applicants.

As the guidelines regarding draw of lots for girls quota states that "draw will happen for 5 times the seats available n the balance chits wil be sealed in the presence of audiences for future audit or reference".

does that mean the draw for remaining 65% general category seats will be only for boys n girls will not be considered?

Dear All, to my calculations, majority of schools will conduct draw of lots for 70 pts and fight may be among 2000 applicants or more. I suggest, wherever any parents gets just take it. do not wait for lists any more.

Dont under estimate the power of the common man to manuplate the system with fake transfer points. If its happening in DPS, it is bound to happen in other school also.

Personally feel that the draw would be at 75 points.

Hi Maharam ,

I dont forsee this as in every school there would be 5 points advantage in terms of alumini , transfer which would lead to the 70 point ones not even eligible .. as in DPS as there were loads of 75 point parents , this could be the case in most of the schools .. god forbid if this is the situation , we are doomed :-(

Shantanu & Ravi Kr, it was because no school is having more than 400 seats including EWS and none will receive less than 2000 applications within 8 kms radius all getting 70 pts. So think in that way. Give me an example of any school in Delhi getting only 400 applications.

not only this i have observed in dps mathura road parents filled forms twice for one child isnt it affecting the draw

duplicate forms will be rejected as per their instructions.let us see how it comes true. but u will find hardly 15-20 persons and if not rejected, then only 5-7 persons will be genuine others will be fake and will nowhere stand during verification. But verification should be done genuinely without any favour.
