yes i raised this in many of threads of AN.com. this problem is just because of transfer case,, as transfer case is applicable in all the schools... so it seems there will be no chance for 70 points atleast in first list.. and not sure for 2nd list also...while on the other hand transfer case will have options to choose.... This issue should be raised immediately.... 

Shakshi, can u plz give some clarity on why transfer cases are being given 5 point more...?

I agree.....I think this is the silliest thing they could do.....their entire point strategy fails becaus of five points for interstate transfer

Parents against points for transfer cases should join to meet education minister and further to court of law..... We should do is sooner than later

I second that.... still failed to understand why transfer cases should get 5 points extra?  This is highly partial and bias call. The process should be fair to all the students barring Siblings and Alumni (points) which is understood and logical.

What exactly is the logic behind this? can someone explain?

This is all rubbish. DPS INTERNATIONAL IS JUST 4 K.M. FROM MY RESIDENCE STILL MY SON GOT 0 POINTS.

They have normalized the points.

So basically 0 means 70 (only neighborhood points) Everyone between 0-8 Km would be at 0 (or 70) points

5 means 75 (Tfr or Alumni cases)

10 means 80 (Tfr and Alumni cases)

20 means 90 (Sibling cases)

25 means 95 (Sibling + Tfr or Alumni cases)

0 in this school is equal to 70 in other schools, however main issue is of so many transfers cases which definitely does not seems genuine

Please remember , 75 can be Tfr or Alumni cases. Not all 75 pointers would be Tfr cases, many would be alumni cases.

DPS would most definitely have a high number of alumni applications, being one of the oldest, biggest and sought after schools

Is the distance calculated from DPS International saket or RK Puram. As DPS International is 3.5 km from my house.

since they have their nursery wing in RK Puram
