Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

In its short existence of 49 days, the Aam Aadmi Party government had set up a few facilities that became instant hits, such as nursery admission helpline, school inspection teams and a grievance cell at the secretariat. What will happen to these?
 
The nursery admission helpline that was launched on January 13 by Arvind Kejriwal will continue to function till further orders.
 
Former education minister Manish Sisodia had also formed an army of volunteers to help carry out surprise checks in government schools and facilitate nursery admissions of the students belonging to poor families.

About 40% of these volunteers were AAP members.
 
"No such activity will be stopped until we get orders otherwise. I am in touch with volunteers and they are still working on complaints about nursery admissions," said Amit Mishra, education coordinator.
 
He said that the collapse of AAP government should not affect the helpline as it is being run by the employees of the directorate of education.
 
"For other activities, we have enough number of volunteers who do not belong to AAP," he said, while claiming of the 2,702 complaints registered so far, 2,204 have been resolved.
 
However, the grievance cell may not have such a back-up. AAP worker, Jitendra, was originally given the responsibility to run it. The ever-swelling crowd outside Kejriwal's office was gradually diverted to the grievance cell.
 
"The cell had other officials also. But the volunteers worked without money. They had to be appointed on the co-terminus posts which cease to exist with the change in government. What happens next with the grievance cell, only L-G can say," said an official who worked with AAP government.
 
He, however, added, "I don't think it will be continued for obvious reasons. It was anyway not over a month old."

I hope AAP comes back to power n continues to help

How, by continuing stupid policy like giving 5 points to  transfer cases and discriminating against honest resident parents of Delhi who did not opt to get and submit a forged transfer certificate.

IF THIS GOVT CANNOT HANDLE NURSERY ADMISSIONS HOW CAN IT BE TRUSTED TO RUN THIS STATE AND COUNTRY

Interstate transfer points were advised by LG and not the Delhi Govt.!!!!

Himanshu, Kejriwal & Sisodia themselves praised LG over these guidelines. 

They could have very easily scrapped transfer points if they wished.

None could foresee such ruckus being created out if transfer points, but lets appreciate the implementation n also the transparency in draw of lots (implementation) and most of all ease in submission of forms this year + non payment of charge for prospectus this year,.. do the maths urself

No elections will happen in next few months. Our cm has big dreams to nurture , we in delhi were just used as stepping stones. Use and throw policy of the great man continues.

And I am yet to come across a single person who got any benefit of nursery admission helpline . Aap or no aap , we parents are anyways struggling due to illogical rules and points system , I m horrified by the possibility that my kid will not get lucky in any draw (due to large numbers) even after filling form in 25 schools.
We want aap again to help us who will help us.
What a shame to all those who still have faith in drama queens of national kerjriwal. Its gud he was thrown out useless person on earth. I cant belive after all this drama u guys are hoping to bring that bastard back.
Mr chander , can u tell 1 place where nautankis of drama party helped you. In context of current post we got no help and are betrayed without any substantive conclusion to admission problems.

do you think this is aap effect , the movement they left schools have come in open ? for donation as  schools un masked by Mr Vohra today in newspapers .

Irrespective of Govt. parents need a efficient Grievance handling mechanism to lodge our complaints related to admission matters and irregularities. A Grievance Redressal Officer can be appointed to escalate our complaints through DOE portal, toll free number, postal and through email address. Since it is the peak period of admission process a special cell should be constituted to address our complaints and grievances and if any complaint is registered appropriate action should be taken within a short timeline. (1 or 2 days).
