DRAW DATES FOR SCHOOLS IN EAST DELHI 2014_15

EVERYONE IS INVITED HERE TO DISCUSS THE DATES OF DRAW FOR GIRL CHILD AND THE FINAL DATE OF DRAWS AS WELL AS OTHER IMPORTANT DATES OF SCHOOLS IN EAST DELHI AREA.

KINDLY DO UPDATE THIS THREAD TIMELY TO AVOID ANY LAST MINUTE HASSLES.

Noticed this update on vivekananda (D block anand Vihar) school website (link) that they are conducting second draw on 02/26 at 1.30 PM for 3 confirmed and 26 waiting list. The draw will be from 70 pointers, so some hope.

Key thing is that the link suggests that this has happened due to some circular from DOE on 02/22 which has clarified that only transfer TO Delhi will be given 5 points under transfer quota. does anyone has any idea about this DOE circular?

Hi, everyone, I have something in my mind, all here are professional and well knowledgeable in our fields...some can be lawyer also...if we unit together and fight against this 5 point for transfer (specially inter-state NCR transfer case)... it can make a big difference...

As everybody may know that there is one PIL against these points in High Court...if some more applications move to courts or to Directorate of Education...it can halt this admission schedule for some more days....but chances are there that we can get some solution....

waiting for reply/ideas/solutions...

In today's world we have email/facebook/whatsapp/social media/press etc.etc. come with thoughts we have to fight for it...

By only making hue and cry, we can't do anything...we have to fight for our right to education for our children..

that is why this PIL has been filed. And what your are talking about is also same. So let first wait for the outcome of this PIL because more applications or anything may hamper the chances of this PIL also. You may also correct me if i am wrong.

The major problem is for 70 points, if the child is First Born there is no consideration of points.. There must be some change in rules, either Sibling or First Born should be treated with parity and points should be allocated.

So much tension still persists...

Attended the draw at Queen Mary's but they refused to put up a list after announcing the names. They took out a list of 300 names and didnt clarify how many seats are left in 70 points category post EWS, 90 ans 75 pointers..

The list will be put on 28th Feb post 4 pm..

I think we have to support today's PIL only. This one PIL can do Justice if number of parents get united on that only.

I suggest don't go for several PIL's. Complaint on DOE/PMO is of no worth. Court will be the only solution maker.

lets unite & support on this only and if possible join the court on next hearing.

Is there anybody going to attend both draws.....please confirm..if possible to note down the details or take a picture of the final list...will save some parent's precious time...

Since there is no draw in all schools for 70 pointers, in no hope, i am not going at both these schools.
