This hearing is not for transfer point. This is about the new point system VS Schools.

What the logic behind alumni in past my parents can afford to send me in a govt school but in present I can afford a well reputed public school for my ward then why all these stupid rules are bounding me n snaching my rights from me

It seems… it will be little delay in admissions but 70 pointers will get selected after that.

Delay in admissions don't have any adverse effects but these "transfer points" have become nightmare to majority of the parents. We 70 pointers have not got selected even in the waiting list of any schools irrespective of high number of applications we have filled. It would have been better to give 5% quota for transfer, this moment the % is as high as 70% - completely illogical way of defining admissions

what happens after the points are abolished. do the schools carry fresh draws or it will come in place from next year?

At entry level Transfer point has no logic. Transferred parent should show their transfer letter along with their old address and get 70 points.

Will the whole system of admission process be scraped. What happen to those 70 pointers who have been selected.

I have just been informed that in KR Mangalam, Vikaspuri, the draw is held for only 2 seats for 70 points, rest i think around 102 seats have given directly to those getting 75 or more points. This is absolutely ridiculous.
