When Mr LG declared new point system in December, I remember, we all were expressing our satisfaction and happiness on this very forum.

2 Months later, after reality test, almost everybody is crying foul or unfair.

Yesterday, DOE took yet another partial U turn and we are sooo happy again. But is is really going to make any difference. In my opinion Hardly any.

So, what is the best point system which give fair chance to everybody and some preference to comfort of those little kids.

Here is my working on point system. Request parents to come up with points about how this point system is unfair to somebody.

Please don't be biased by justifying "PREFERENCE" you should get for some reason which does not give direct benefit to kids. We want fair chance, let preferences come next.

Here it goes.....

1. 25% quota for EWS

2. 05% quota for Alumni cases

3. 05% quota for staff

4. Sibling: 20 Points ( Highest priority and thus almost sure chance in school of their first child)

5. First Child : 10 Points (these 10 points will limit chances of sibling cases in other schools)

6. Distance

    0-2 KM :70 Points

    2-5 KM : 65 Points ( gives still better chance for first child here as compared to sibling case                                               with 70 distance point)

    5-8 KM: 60 Points ( let sibling with 70 distance point and first child ready to travel so much be                                         on same level)

    Above 8KM: 50 Points ( so much travelling is torture for kids and let everybody else including                                                   siblings with more distance points get better chance)
