sibling point is ok but its ok when equal points give to first born
like 10 point for sibling and 10 points for first born
and alumni point should removed (raja ka beta raja)
<like 10 point for sibling and 10 points for first born>
Sibling 10 point -> only in one school. Where all other first child have 10 points. So all equal.
Siblings in other school will get 0 points whereas all other first child will hold 10 points in other schools too. Not logical.
I am a parent of first child, but lets suggest something that is correct, unless I misunderstood your comment.
Yes, points for Alumni does not make sense at all!!!
I also agree with Ravinder ji
Alumni points don't mean 'raja ka beta raja' by any means. Alumni points will help both the child and the school as parents are well aware of the school ecosystem and culture and thus helps in better and faster assimilation of child/parents/school communities.
And moreover this applies to everyone for their respective schools. Why shy away from your legacy school? Don't disown it !
I Agree!
I am also agree with the comments of Mr. Ravinder Sharma i.e. 10 points for sibling and 10 points for first born child.
20 points is excess for sibling where as no points for first born child, then how can a first born child get admit.
Please appreciate that out of thousands of schools in Delhi Sibling and/or alumni will apply in 1 or 2 schools. For all other the candidate will be in absolute no advantage position. If you also give same no. of points to first born as to the sibling then it defeats the entire logic of sibling. Also, this would ensure that second child will get admission nowhere as the advantage of sibling is already negated (by giving same no. of points to first born) and in any other school this person will not even get first born child points. This essentially means second born child (and all subsequent children) will not get admission anywhere. Very unfair !
agree.
Not for sibling at least.. Think of the plight of parents whose 2 children goes to 2 different schools.. different school timings, different bus pick up points, 2 PTAs and so on.. and on top of it, the siblings lose the comfort..
Only first child should get points. However, Points may be given according to qualification of Parents and for working couple.
But Points for Alumni and Sibling should be removed.
