no redraws please...kids selected under 70 points....supporting there shouldn't be a redraw ...join the discussion

Lets be prompt as our children destiny has been tested once and who knows,that they will be shortlisted again in the any school...i am against the redraws, as after 30 sleepless night praying every night my son has been shortlisted in one school out of 35..the chances are slim that their name will be in the list again ....lets do something before the verdict is out...please comment so our words can be heard...

we didn.t get a chance to participate in draw with 70 points...there should be fresh draw ..Alumini points should be eliminated also

The confirmed 70 pointers do not have to worry about the redraw if you hd carefully read the latest DoE circular. The draw will be only for waitlisted, 75 points(transfer cases) and the 70 pointers, which are the majority.Please do not keep worrying unneccessarily without understanding the issue. I am a child of 70 pointer who has alumni points only in a single school and couldnt get through in even that because of transferee cases.

I think partial redraw will be bais, complete redraw should be proposed.

I m confused as my daughter comes under 70 points and secured a seat in a school but the admission for first list would be closed on first week of march but with fresh redraw she has a fair chance for other schools too.where draw will be till 15 th march so if i take admission in this school i can loose the chance for fresh redraw in other better school and if i wait there is no surety of her succeeding in those fresh draw.what should i do

even if you secure the seat available, still you will be eligible for the other draws.

There should not be redraw for selected candidates. Why everyone should suffer because of some fraudsters.

there shouldn't be any redraw for selected 70 pointers from the draw earlier ....guys lets fight and raise our voice now, before its too late ....we got an equal chance like 75 pointers ..whose 5 points are scrapped now...we did select in a draw with few seat available as in earlier scenario ...all 80% of the seats were filled by either alumni or tc or siblings...now tc will get a chance to participate in those seats which have been vacant by them and other seats be filled by alumni , sibling or selected 70 pointers so they will get and equal opportunity ....y should all the seats which are confirmed by 70 pointers should be vacant and have them go through the torture of redraw again.....and 70 pointers who were not selected will have another chance to try their luck....don't be unfair to our children whose destiny is tested once...we are not ready to let our selected seat go...guys lets fight if the order is not in our favor tom....

I think it shld b a fair decision of havin the entire set of draws, done again. As its nt a fair chance for every1 thn. U can take the below as example.

Lets say thr r 100 seats to go and 1000 kids applied. For instance 10% is the sibling cum alumini quota. So total in seats left is 90 for others. If kids selected in earlier draw is 80 with 70 points and 10 with inter state points. Does mean tht if redraws gonna happen, then it will be 10 seats to go and 910 applicats to fill.

So does mean tht earlier it was 1 seat on which 10 kids were tryin thr luck and now it will b 1 seat on which 91 applications gonna try thr luck...

Do u think its fair... Bcz ur kid got a seat, does this mean its fair...

I have also got confirmed seat, bt when i think neutrally, the decision of havin redraws is not wise untill its for the entire quota of seats...

Rest ur wish guyzzz... Lets b selfish and fight for ourselves... Think abt parents who got a ray of hope aftr securing wait lists... Bt nw they dnt even have the same anymore...
