Moving to HC

Few of us are moving to HC against DOE decision. Please lemme know by tomorrow EOD if anyone wants to be part of the group.

My husband also spoke to chhavi from AN.
Apart from this what step we need to take.

Anyone speaking to media, please make sure to table everyone's thoughts. Also keep in mind that the pain of over 90% parents with 70 points. Our discussion is specifically to keep genuine interstate and EWS, fakers shouldn't be gettin any benefit out of this.

i m in. pls share the plans, this is gross injustice. if the TP are withdrawn, so be it.. but there should be total redraw for general cat.

If they are saying that N numbers of TP Cases are fake, it means they knw about it who make fake transfer letters...they should take action on them, why Genuine transfer cases should suffer..

but u cannot have such 'ENLIGHTENMENT' and REALIZATION' AT THE LAST MOMENT.were they sleeping when they first issued guidelines. even courts upheld them. there has to be a deadline even to announce changes.

There no logic for giving 5 points for transfer cases. As this is the starting of session not mid. Also fair opportunity should be given to all applicants( Ex transfer) so redraw should be done for all seats not for just leftover.

I agree Indu but we all are so busy in our day to day activities and all this nusrsey lots....we have not thought about all such immature decision at last moment, the people who has taken this decision should think about all aspect .......see the other discussion there are so may people who are not happy with this decision be it EWS issue,girl child issue,alumini issue,transfer issue,first born issue or any....they are just doing trial and error .....

Mukesh I am all in so are afew more guys we are in touch with...

If you guys believe that injustice is metted out to ppl who had genuine transfer cases... lets not just sit and lament.

One of the parents had visited DOE yesterday and he could clearly sense that the mood their is of pure pacification.

These changes neither help ppl who had got no admissions yet and most definitely against the small minority of transfer case parents.

Till now we were just writing "humble submissions" to DOE with the assumption that everything will be fair with or without transfer points.. its time to act and act fast...

I can't let my kid suffer because of whims and fancies of incompetents or pure greed of others, nor should you.

The new guidelines.... A hit to democracy, where is equality to all. Just because DOE failed to anticipate properly, we all parents are having nightmares. Now they have given clear way to alumni. Draw should be all except siblings.

Now everyone wants a fair chance??? With 75 points, people did not apply to more schools, because you were sure to get a seat? What about parents with 70 points applying in 25-30 schools and not even getting a chance to be considered for the draw in some of them? Where was the sense of fairness then? There was no limit to the number of schools you could apply to, YOU CHOSE NOT TO,!!! You got transfered to a new city, everything changed? What about parents staying in the city for their entire life and not being able to get a seat? You dont want to compete only for a"few" seats, atleast you have seats to compete for. You are spending time and energy, in getting all the paperwork done, we are spending ours in running from one draw after the other. Yes some transfer cases are genuine,definitely, but starting of the session, for a nursery class, your child is not going to suffer any more than a 70 pointer.
