DRAW DATES FOR SCHOOLS IN EAST DELHI 2014_15

EVERYONE IS INVITED HERE TO DISCUSS THE DATES OF DRAW FOR GIRL CHILD AND THE FINAL DATE OF DRAWS AS WELL AS OTHER IMPORTANT DATES OF SCHOOLS IN EAST DELHI AREA.

KINDLY DO UPDATE THIS THREAD TIMELY TO AVOID ANY LAST MINUTE HASSLES.

As i said an udpdate from Sommerville School. Out of 134 (60 pointers), 86 selected (who took interest at time of document verification). Now parents are invited for draw with 40 points for remaining seats.

But, as I said, they have still displayed the list of 60 pointers

And next list of 40 pointers (as I am one of those) will come if 60 pointers didn't turn up.

Am i right?

Kindly also clarify whether this list is of fresh applicants or of those who were earlier called for verification (from out of 136)

This is the list of 86 candidate out of 136 (who have 60 points). Rest 50 candidate either not interested to take admission or not aware or might not came for verification of documents due to any reason. So now empty seats are transferred to 40 pointers. As school management is very strict and will not entertains later if you missed the given deadline dates. So i assume that there would be 30-50 seats are still vacant. So be ready for draw and remember you have to physically present at the time of draw, otherwise they will not consider you later. I am going to submit the fee at 14th.

If you have 40 points then don't worry, you are eligible for draw :) but expect very big rush. Sommerville don't communicate never very well so many of parent will missed this draw.

As DOE says that to be present at draw is not mandatory

Finally submitted the fee at Sommerville, so now it is end of the 1st level tension, now next is every year school increasing their fees. Last year Somemrville had 3800 tution fee and this year is 6000. What would be the next year, gods know only. Because there is no government in delhi so school don't want to miss this chance and increased the fee 60-80%. I think every school done this.
