Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

Admission Dates | Admission Criteria | Compare schools | Fee Details

Dear all,

I just thought reading Super Educated mind of parents who have read the constitution everyday since the day they were born and not every word but every letter of the constitution is in their blood. The great story of these Super Educated parents.

1) Started with Transfer - Obviously as far as I am concerned, parents were completely at fault (who forged documents) and we as a group are blaming government for this.

2) Now Alumni - Parents reaction is 'Hey I am not alumni, let me try to take this point out'. It will eb betterment of the society. Fundamental right etc. CRAP SUPER EDUCATED PARENTS

3) Sibling - Hey I do not have any Sibling Advantage. Let me try to take this out of contention as well.

4) Distance - I stay near RK Puram. Within 1 km. Let me fight for graded neighbourhood criteria of 1 km. Because of this 8 km rule my chances got screwed.

Come on guys, none of the parents is fighting for anything except admission of their own kid.

PLS DO NOT TRY TO SHOW YOUR EQUALITY ATTITUDE TO THE PARENTS WHO ARE PEACEFULLY WATCHING ALL THIS. I DON NOT KNOW IF EVEN 100 parents are making so much of noise for justice etc.

All I feel is that if we do a voting of people who want smooth process against who want to fight forever then we might have 0.1% of the parents who want to fight and make noise for nothing.

I feel that government is wrong in 1 thing which is to even consider these silly PILs and creating havoc.

For me its the parents who started this mess and government by acknowledging this.

Yes... its happening in reality bro....

no parents are quite right as they only want the system as it was till the previous year. even i want the same system as it was till previously... nothing else... also we all are abide to follow the rules which ever what ever the honorable high court will decide finally....

I AGREE SO MUCH  with what Shruti... Please let the admissions happen...

Thats absolutely true that all this ruckus has been created by the numerous PIL's by insane bunch of guys who just look for that few seconds of fame and are the biggest opportunists ! screwing the life of the general lot who are nothing but the mute spectators and waiting for this calamity to go through ..but the question is WHEN , for heaven sake put an end to all this mess hereby clearing way for admission process !

FAULT IS NOT WITH PARENTS OR COURTS RATHER IT LIES WITH GOVT AND LG WHICH UNILATERALLY MADE DRASTIC CHANGES TO GUIDELINES IN A HASTE WITHOUT CONSULTING ALL STAKEHOLDERS. THEN THEY MESSED UP WITH DOING AWAY WITH TRANSFER POINTS WHICH MADE GENUINE TRANSFER POINTERS UPSET. ISSUE IS NOT WHETHER SIBLING ALUMNI AND TFR ARE RIGHT OR WRONG RATHER GUIDELINES SHOULD BE BASED ON CONSULTATIVE APPROACH.NO ONE GUIDLEINE WILL SUIT EVERYONE BUT THERE HAS TO BE A BALANCING ACT OF FIRST BORN, SIBLING, DISTANCE ETC .

@ Sachin Consultative - Boss all stakeholders have their own interests to take care of and trust me there can't be any consensus on this issue. There will always be difference of opinion as what everyone is trying to do is to get the criteria developed as per their own likings..

Shruti no parent challenged last year guidelines because those guidelines were comparatively balanced . Of course mgmt quota was a sore point.

Anything done in haste always end up like this. Just put yourself in shoes of those parents who are not alumi or sibling category.

One should have faith in court as it is the High Court which did not allow mgmt quota to come back.

What I see here is a fresh set of guidelines by LG after consulting all stakeholders. Draft guidelines will be open to feedback from  stakeholders.

Even if nursery session starts late it is not going to make much difference as it is not a senior class.

Under no circumstances present guidelines which are lopsided will continue , rest is upto the courts.

Keep in mind majority parents are not alumni nor have sibling,

One should not panic rather have faith.

What was the last year Guideline?? and if it was so balanced why did the so called majority parents did not brought it up it in begining and got the new guideline scrapped intially??  i think apart from few ppl and school authortites evrybody was so happy to get 70 points in 8 km radius.

Maybe few parents would not mind making there kids sit for a month or two. But as a working parent it does bothers me. I want my kid to go to regular school ASAP to get into a routine school life.

LOT OF PARENTS AND EVEN MR VOHRA HAD APPROACHED LG IN WRITING THAT SOME CHANGES(SRAGGERED DISTANCE POINTS) WERE REQUIRED BUT LG REFUSED IT IN WRITING.

NOW PRESENT GUIDELINES IS LOTTERY AND DISADVANTAGE  FOR FIRST BORN CHILD.

SIBLING BEYOND 8 KM WILL NOT GET ADMISSION.

CHILD STAYING IN FRONT OF SCHOOL MAY NOT GET ADMISSION IN THAT SCHOOL BUT A CHILD STAYING AT 8 KM MIGHT BE LUCKY 'COS OF LOTTERY.

LAST YEAR ALSO THERE WERE CRITERIAS BUT THEY WERE MORE IN NOS SO TEHY USED TO BALANCE OUT ADVANTAGE TO SIBLING AND ALUMNI.

LETS KEEP OUR FINGER CROSSED AND HOPE FOR BEST.

Yes..Keep your fingers crossed that kids get admission this year... don't think any verdict against alumni and sibling will be a cake walk. I am sure any candidate with a secured seat will fight back..so prey to God that our kids get admission this year...

I agree with ABCD..the big elephant will spoil the party if anyone messes around.

Shruti, few question on your point 1

How Parents (filing PIL) are at fault?, HC has ordered to remove it after listening the arguments against transfer points.
How Govt./DOE is innocent?-- It couldn't give any argument in support its decision to allow for transfer points in DEC at first place, It kept changing its decisions.

your view - "Come on guys, none of the parents is fighting for anything except admission of their own kid."

my view - "Parents fighting for EQUAL Opportunity for admission of their kids" whats wrong in that? if we all are suffering these delays then the reason for this is not PIL, the reason for this is DOE not able to support its guidelines in view of the Light of the CONSTITUTION (we all have learned some what about it not today but in school days isn't it?). why they didn't it listned to representation of parents earlier and let the matter got to court? DELAY would have been saved

If DOE is serious then it would be knowing that this PIL game wont stop at this, why aren't they taking any proactive action even now and being only reactive to court's order?
