Krishant ji,
there are several erronous entries in this data,
1. many schools have shown much grater number of 70 pointers under selected list, First Draw than they actually selected through first draw.
2. many schools have given entries only for seat available and columns for number of applications, selected seats etc are all blank. the DOE has conveniently added them and shown the sums in the last, thus the number of total applications have been shown less than that actually are, the ratio of application to available seats are more than what is shown. the vecant seats are shown more than what actually are.
the whole analysis is flawed, the first and formost step in any data analysis is collection of correct data, removal of erronous, INCOMPLETE, inconsistent data before analysing and infering the results.
thats why i am saying that its an eyewash, to show parents and HC that seats are still vecant or are going to 70 pointers but actualy the schools have conveniently slipped in its own candidated under the 70 pointers selected category
and are you saying that DOE has taken an oath on affidavit certifying that all data given by schools is correct? do you think any body can do so? do you think they are so naiv? i can't beleive that
they would have just stated in affidavit that whatever data has been recieved from the schools has been produced before the court, they would have put up enough conditions in that language to save their skins.
my intention is not to stall any process, but raising the questions on entries in this data, and the final analysis by DOE of this incoherent data
and who knows what is in affidavit.... the language used in such legal papers is made up in such a way to save the skin.....
so i think if there are arrors in the data uploaded on DOE website then its the fault of schools not of DOE....
and schools are doing so because they want to hide some seats to sell it afterwards...
Agreed with Dr. Samar Shadab and Sunny.
Data provided by DOE/Schools is not correct. Some schools provided wrong information about total no. of applications received and seats given to 70 pointers.
We all are aware that in first draw, 70 pointers were not considered in any schools. I can say this as i have applied in 20 schools for my daughter but she was considered in Draw for Girls Child only.
Court should review these information and ensure a fair judgment.
Pls. share your schools data or the schools in which u attended draw
I will share u soon wrong entries, no draws conducted for 70 pointers and seats allocated to 70 pointers shown
Yeah, even I have seen the data.. I stay in North Delhi.. Some schools didn't even conduct second draw. They have to do it anyways after 16th.. N its better each of u carry the print of the link provided by DOE in the schools where draw will happen in future.. It has been given by schools.. They have to justify it..
