I really wish to thank the creator of this forum. This has been so much helpful for all East Delhi parents. Just few days back we were all so much stressed and this forum was the only avenue for all of us.

Just wanted to share an update from my side--

After having filled in a total of 14 Application in various East Delhi schools for my daughter. I could secure only one seat in Evergreen Public School, Vasundhara, that too without having any idea of the school's academics reports, co-curricular activities etc. Taken the admission today.

Does anyone know about this school? Their monthly tution fee is bit high~6000 Rs.

Good luck to the parents who are still looking for the admission. I am sure, your child will get the admission soon.

Congratulations AR,

Evergreen seem me gud school, My daughter also studying there in prep and taken the admission in last year. But it surprised me that they have hike the fee, because i remembered last year they have charged 37k as admission fee and 3500/pm as tuition fees. Now from this year onward, tution fees also increased to 3800/pm. But still my first choice is Sommerville, and trying to get admission in KG for my daughter.

Unfortunately, Somerville not take any admission for KG.

Thanks Rajneesh for the Feedback on the school.

I feel that, apart from the school it is also important to provide a good and healthy environment at home.

We as a parents only can hope for the best, lets us see what happens.

For security reason , i would not say you any thing about parents who got the back door admission. But its true that they give admission through back door after getting 50-60K. I also observed on Friday that there were many parents who were filling the fresh form for applying in the school. When I asked what about draw of lots, they said that no such draw was held so far and will be informed soon. You should have visited the laxmi public school today itself or may visit on friday for enquiry as after 16th tehre will be too much chaos after the HC pronouncement...

Dont be too much stressed. Your kid too will get the admission. Wait till 16th after which picture will be clear.

hey, guys ..... no selection till now for my son after applying in 18 schools. really stressed out.

can i get his admission done in mother's pride , gujrat vihar as their fee structure is also not high.

my son was in KIDSZEE (now PETALS) NIRMAN VIHAR, but now they have increased the annual charges so much and monthly fee and transportation also. they are also charging development fee and some misc charges per month addition to this. and attitude of this school has gone very high.

really dont understand which way to go???? pls suggest
