String of nursery admission orders puzzles parents

NEW DELHI: The numerous orders and notifications being issued regarding the nursery admissions every other day has left parents confused. No one is sure what the status is at present, which court - the high court or the Supreme Court - will finally decide what happens to the admissions this year and when their tots will start school. Some schools starting classes on April 15 hasn't helped matters.

Parents have begun consulting their own lawyer acquaintances for clarity. "A client of mine is an SC lawyer. I had a talk with him on the current situation. What he told me about SC dates is very alarming. He told me that in SC, dates are given many months away in normal cases and if the SC thinks the case is very sensitive and time-bound, and needs an immediate judgment, the best they can do in these cases is give dates 20 days away," says a parent. Another parent adds that it seems unlikely - factoring the schools' summer vacations and the courts' dates, along with general delays - that the process will begin before September.

There is also worry over the fees that many paid during the few days admissions were permitted by the high court. That round closed on April 9 and the April 3 order allowing admissions has been stayed by Supreme Court. "One court told us to decide and deposit fees within a few days and another has stayed that process. We had secured the seat for our child by paying a handsome amount," says another.

Some parents gathering on admissionsnursery.com are even considering appealing to the petitioners and asking them to withdraw the case.

"What about parents who have already paid a quarters' fees as per the last HC decision? Will schools refund them if the session begins after the summer vacation? Many parents, expecting the case to go on till after the summer vacations have cancelled holiday plans," says Sumit Vohra of admissionsnursery.com. He adds that several minority schools - and even the odd non-minority one - beginning session on April 15, has confused parents further. The starting of session on April 15 wasn't a high court direction but that of Directorate of Education.

Its so sad that all of us make it personal and dont see or want to see a wider prospective...

Sir dont you think you make it personal by blaming all on teachers and teaching community....

You claim that you are spiritual and do meditation too... then you Must see things in a wider prospective and from all angles ..

My heartly apologies in advance if something hurt you

Hi everyone!
I'm a 70 pointer. I Hv booked a seat for my daughter and paid first quarter fees also. If session doesn't start before July, I'll definitely feel cheated coz ours is a hard earned money but still I'm not in favour of filing another petition for that. So I would request all the parents here that whatever is the outcome of this discussion kindly avoid more PIL.

Most of us criticizing pvt. schools and still waiting and fighting for admission of our wards in those schools. What is this logic? Once you don't like a school or its functionary and aware that each segment of any organization may affect you because of your or the organization's attitude, then would it not be safe to ignore that organization or change your mindset in case one is compelled to remain with the organization due to prevailing circumstances. Why someone feel cheated inspite of knowing the facts? Once you cannot change the target, better change yourself, otherwise the powerful will defeat you and it is true. Rotten mindset always invites troubles, treatment is to throw it away and leave it to time. No treatment is better than time's one. Ganga ki dhara me avrodh paida karne se swayam avrodh usi me beh jaata he. Yadi taqat nahi he to pehle utni tawat juta lein jo ganga ki dhara ko mod sake.

Sorry to say most us criticize indian system and still live here... we all criticize some thing at some stage .. but also go by them and live with them.... this is the nature sir.... we all contradict in everything.

On a spiritual note : i want to say there are two forces in this world one is +ve and other is -ve. Both bring balance in this world.....

Precence or excess on any one power is harm full...

Hope you will understand....

Regards

@ Maharam Tanwar

Thanks for your words which reminded me the very first thing came into my mind that stay away from all these discussions (due to personal attacks). But I'm very thankful to the whole team of AN.com and always be.

Proud hath a Fall. Anyone who believes in his own mastery at times loses the battle. When Lord Rama was trapped in Nagpash, Hanuman requested Lord Garuda to free his master from nagpasha of Devil Meghnaad. Having freed lord Rama from the nagpasha, Garuda lost his peace and doubted his master's power. He became the victim of proudism. King of Birds helped his master. This proudism infact illusion (doubting his master's power) led him lost mental peace. He went to Brahma Ji and then Shiva our lords who asked him to go to the ashram of Shri Kakbhushandi ji - a bird of very low status. No sooner he entered his ashram, much of his doubt and proudism was carried away and remaining was vanished away with Kakbhushandi's discourses.

Infact, you never know the secret of the power. Lord never wants proudism be the cause of someone's fall and gives a chance to remove it. Ignorance of the same leads to loss of mental peace and other physical sorrows. The Lord wanted to remove Garuda's proudism and doubt by creating this episode and realised him his supermacy over every living being.

So never under estimate anyone and never boast of your calibre. Try to accept the reality and if not be ready to face the consequences and then do not repent. One creates problems for oneself but just ignores in the beginning and later repents only. Let us enjoy the fruits of our doings with nursery admission process because work done never goes un-rewarded.

Understanding And Expressing Your Potential...

A free being is the one who recognizes their potential; they care for it, nourish it, use it and express it. It is an awakened being. It has stopped blaming, complaining and making excuses. It has taken on its full responsibility and has an attitude of gratitude at each moment. It is a relaxed being, but it does not get too comfortable in comfort zones or laziness. Out of peacefulness and spiritual strength, it rises above beliefs that limit their potential to grow and shine.

Its energy is full of love, courage and determination. It is a concentrated energy that governs their mind and emotions; it is not distracted by the unimportant, it does not lose sight of the important and does not allow itself to be trapped by anything or anybody. Therefore, their energy is fully centred and has great power. Not the false power that comes from stress, adrenaline, pride and ego, but rather the power that arises from a being whose conscience, decisions and actions are aligned. From a being that knows that nothing or nobody can prevent it from being free and express their full potential. A free mind is a mind without limits, open to everything and closed to nothing. It is a mind that clings on to nothing and, because of this, is relaxed with everything. A mind is closed because it gets stuck on something; it is blocked by fears or disturbed by worries. A person with a busy, closed and clinging mind will get disturbed, they will fluctuate, they will lose their emotional stability and they will be easily offended. This doesn't happen to a person with a free, open and relaxed mind because they never lose sight of the true meaning of who they are.
