i think for 15 seats presence is mandatory and those only will be considered not sure how many will come thru.the best thing is i enter at 8 and put the slip and come back. no need to wait as anyways draw will be on the website later

noted regarding getting seat in Class V in Dps

@Mahesh Ji, as you know my child has got selected in Nirmal Bhartia... we got admission there too but now we have got call from N.K Bargodia too. should we go for NKB now??

Sarika maam mt. Carmel is best... your kid is grown up now... so prob relating to distance i think.....

So dont  change yr school.....

Mt Carmel is best in dwarka

hi pls advise mount carmel or dps dwarka which is better. my daughter is  in 4th standard at sector 22 (she managed to get thru in nursery draw few years back)  and my son got sibling seat at sector 28 the new one at bamnaoli this year only. well i wanted him to get seat in 22 only. anyways he will be transfered from 4 standard to sector 22 only. i am very satisfied with mount carmel  for my daugher in terms of academics / her behaviour / discipline/ well spoken english . only thing missing is activities which we manage thru home.

shall i go for dps dwarka draw tmrw for my son for balance 15 seats not sure whether it will come thru or not . but only chance one important thing i stay at sector 04 very near to dps dwarka. in case it comes thru i can try my daughters seat next year in standard 5 . this is all my thinking . this all applies to if it comes thru

Physical Presence of Parent is a mandate for DOL at DPS Dwarka on 27 May.... 

POINTS REGARDING THE PROCESS OF DRAW OF LOTS:

 Draw of lots for 15 seats out of 3369 applicants with 70 points will take place on Tuesday, 27May
2014 from 09.00 am. onwards in the school premises.
 Draw of lots will be conducted only once.
 The draw will be conducted for all eligible registered applicants with 70 pointsonly for the
applicants who are physically present at the time of Draw on 27 May 2014.
 Entry for the parents will begin at 08.00 am
 There is very limited parking space available near the school. Parents are requested to use public
transport.
 Only 1 parent is requested to attend.
 Children are not allowed.
 Parents are requested to bring the printout of Registration page for entry purpose on the day of
the draw.
 In the case of those applicants who had filled more than one registration form, the registration
bearing the higher number has been considered for draw of lots and the lower registration number
has been deleted from the list. This is to ensure that there is only one application for each
candidate. In case, there is anyone who still has a duplicate registration, the applicant is requested
to notify the same to the school representative at the time of marking their attendance at the
respective table.

 All applications have been serially numbered from 1 to 3369 as per registration number. For the
purpose of convenience and economy of time, all applicants have been grouped as follows:

Table No Serial Numberof the list
1. 1 – 500
2. 501 – 1000
3. 1001 – 1500
4. 1501 – 2000
5. 2001 – 2500
6. 2501 – 3000
7. 3001 & above

 Parents are requested to get their attendance marked at the respective table and put their slip in the
container placed at the table itself. The slip bearing the Registration Number and Name of the child
will be provided by the school.
 At 08:45 am, all the slips from each of the 7 containers will be transferred to the common container
by parent volunteers.The candidature of those applicants who are not physically present will
be considered as null and void for the draw, treating their absence as their unwillingness.
 50 slips will be drawn by volunteer parents and will be serially numbered. Out of these, first 15 slips
will be considered for admission and the next 35 slips in the serial order will be placed as waitlisted.
 After the draw, the balance slips will be sealed in the presence of the parents, with signatures of 02
parents as witness, for any future reference.
 The result of the draw of lots will be displayed on the school websiteon Tuesday, 27 May 2014.
Please note: - If a parent has registered for ‘Twins’ and if his/her chit is drawn successfully, he/she
must immediately report the same at the announcement desk to facilitate sibling benefit.

BBPS, Dwarka has come out with a list of applicants eligible for 2nd Draw of lots(70 pointers) Pre-School Admission 2014-15...
