I think considering this year chaos there is a need for revised policy. I have sent an email to doe but no response. I tried to call them but seems like its even worse situation then typical govt office. Pls advise what others r doing. I am sure many might be facing such problem.

You should get refund as per DOE 100%

if school authorities do not agree visit personally after taking appointment ( before that shoot mail to Dir/Adl Dir/Principal secy)

Ms Madhu Teotia  ( Addl Dir) is Sensitive towards parents ,as she gave next day appointment to many of an.com parents on different issues earlier and heard them properly . try to meet her if you don't get the solution through mail.

I have not yet received any revert on below and would request again to responsible authorities to please issue necessary clarification/modification as needed in view of the conditions that existed this year.

Dear Madam

 

You are aware that this year Nursery admissions was a long process with lot of circulars being issued by DOE.  You are also aware that admissions are now happening in various schools after Honorable Supreme court lifted the stay.

 

I wanted to check if DOE has issued any revised circular wrt to Fee refund as current circular states “ if any parent withdraws child within one month from date of admission” however the true situation on the ground is that various schools have taken admissions at various stages and and since 2^nd & 3^rd list of many schools are coming now therefore parents are getting their wards admitted in school of preference now and there can be a gap of more than one month due to the utter confusion created this year.

 

I tried to search for the same under public circulars but could not find one.

 

Request you to please let me know if you have issued a new circular/modified circular in this regard as we need to cater to this year’s situation. I would recommend that this period should be increased atleast to two months.

 

I am an aggrieved parent and if we do not have clarification on the same then I stand to loose approx 40,000 rupees.

 

Request you to please look in this matter and expecting a favorable and early response for the same.

 

Note: Please note schools have taken admission in the month of march also as some of them were not impacted by IST cases so please word the circular in such a way that no parent loses on this account.

Request all affected parents to write to DOE on similar lines or as you may deem fit. I am sure if they receive several emails/ letters then they will be forced to issue necessary clarifications. Request again to all to please send letters/emails to them if you want to get your money back.

Wanted to check if any of you have got refund in case you have shifted from one school to another school and are they giving refund as per DOE guidelines or some arbitrary amount.

I am also in the same situation. I am about to loose 70k. We tried our best to contact the school authority but nothing happened. I am going to send an email as you have mentioned. Thank u for this kind coperation.

Nothing will happen unless until a new guideline or any kind of amendment in the existing one will be issued by dept. of education. Because as per the present rule they are in safe place and we cant do anything. If anyone having good suggestion to deal with it please let us know...

Hi Manoj, we had a good experience with DPS RKP when we shifted our daughter. They deducted a nominal amount but have refunded the substantial part of what we had paid

 I m also facing the same problem, d school simply refused to pay anything n said if I can show them any circular regarding this thing. how have you people dealt with this issue.  Has anybody got refund? please advise?
