Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

Admission Dates | Admission Criteria | Compare schools | Fee Details

My son turns 3 yrs in mid Oct this year, hence we can seek admission only in schools where there is some relaxation on the cut off date of 30th sept. However the question is whether one should seek flexibility and admit him in the 2015 session in nursery or wait another year for 2016. There are 2 schools of thoughts on this topic... Invite suggestions, perspectives from parents in the same situation or who have had similar experience with an older child.

Really difficult decision as my son is also march born. This is very personal decision as in our case, we are ok if he has to repeat pre-nursery.

Priyanka

But some schools like amity ( also crosschk with amiown have upper cut off age of 4 yrs for nursery )

So you cannot apply in amity as your child would be 4 year 1month next year . As upper cut off age is school specific kindly enquire from all of your desired schools.

hi  Sakshi,

My son is also 15 oct 2010 born and he is studying in mothers pride and now we want him to admit into formal school but if i will put into DPS school then he have to repeat his nursery class there so please suggest what should i do?

Anju

Many schools take 3 yrs try in them as no point wasting one year.

see Gurgaon groups for details.

It depends on the decision of parents. Anyway hope the below link will help to take a decision.

Thanks Latha, the article was really helpful. Please also advice other than amity, GD Goenka, Presidium... which are good schools with March 31st as criteria.
Hi Sakshi, just took out the names of schools you posted on another discussion which takes admissions as on 31st March. These are Amity/ Amiown /GD Goenka / Ridge Valley / Gurgaon valley/ Indus world school /Shalom Presidency/Banyan tree. Request you to suggest about which one is better as I am not aware about reviews of schools like Ridge Valley / Gurgaon valley/ Indus world school...

 Priyanka

Just visit Ridge valley  n take feedback from parents as we have mixed feedback . Rest 2 are mediocre

Ridge valley reviews are that it is extremely expensive. Is amity also equally expensive?
Amiown is expensive but amity is relatively less expensive.

is there pre nursery in Amity?

if child admitted to amiown, will he be transferred to amity automatically next year.

Please give idea for fee of both.

Renuka

No guaratee  but most of the parents say you have to pay admission fee twice .

Call  Amity Sec 46 or Amiown for details .
