Salwan is also a good school, But, air flowing strongly in the direction of DAV these days.

I have my elder daughter stydying in 4th standard.86 000 k was admission fees and quaretrey come around 22k with transport.We have changed her school this year now.It is one of big schools.

No,earlier she was in DPS Maruti Kunj,now she is in Amity sec 46.I am fully satisfied with this school.Now planning to put younger one in Amity sec 43 so that I can put her in Amity sec 46 after 2 years ,because Amity sec 46 starts from class 1 onwards and I don't want to put her in Amiown because of its cost.

If I do a hardcore calculation, I think Amiown would stillbe the same in MY case (my son will be eligible for Nursery in Amiown as compared to Pre Nursery in others). Taking approximations below:

Paying extra in Amiown: 50K(One time fee) + ~35K(extra in tution fee for 1yr as it is expensive)=85K

Paying extra tution fee for Pre Nursery (1 yr): ~1 Lac

Additional advantage is that I save one year of my child.

You have to pay the same fees again (complete admission fees) if you are calculating in terms of money.

Yes Sakshi, I understand. So I included the Amiown admission fee (50K) as extra.

This extra 50K + ~35K (tution fee) compensates the fee for 1 additonal year (for Pre Nursery) which I will pay in other schools as I directly get admission in Nursery in Amiown.

But with this I almost secure my seat in Amity Sec-46 and then the tution fee there is quite reasonable (~8K PM) with the school standard, as Mohit mentioned.

Rajat I think you are getting too money conscious..instead of calculating savings in terms of money I believe you should be thinking about the extra pressure you'll put on kid without having the luxury to start at her own pace..give it a thought

yes rajat....amiown is considerable....

but my boy is eligible for pre nursery only but in future he can go amity 46 and fee is almost equal with salwan at that time.

and admission fee of amiown is almost half of salwan but there is huge difference in standard of both...
