Hi Manish,

In Kothari, they don't have any last date. Admission is granted on first come first serve basis. Once the seats are full, they'll stop admissions.

Whether we need to carry any documents on second round at DPSI...

Hi Priya,

No need to carry any documents for DPSI Second round

Just did some calculation of fees of AISV-6 vs DPSI ...

Even though AISV-6 is only taking 70k (including first quarter fees) .... onetime fees 22k

and DPS-I taking 85k (excluding first quarter fees) .... onetime fees 66k

But still it seems AISV-6 is expensive as compared to DPS-I.... both in terms of Annual fees as well as quarterly fees

even their transport charges seem higher than DPS-I

Let me know if I'm missing something ...

Puneet @ some correction

DPSI :-84K is admission fee+ annual Fee  than later around 17K you need to pay first quarter fee month of April15 when session will start +4K for book fee=1 Lakh 5 K

Amity:-In 70K include above all( Admission+Annual+first quarter+book Fee)

@Yash.... I'm not talking about the first year ...

AISV-6 onetime fees ,.... 22k

DPSI onetime fees ... 66k

This creates the difference in first year .... and makes DPS-I look expensive

But for coming years ... .

AISV-6 annual fees (annual+activity+study) = Rs 31,000

DPS-I annual fees = Rs 18700

AISV-6 quaterly fees (tuition+computer+sports) = Rs 17380

DPS-I quaterly fees (tuition+computer+smart-class) = Rs 16280

Am I missing any section??

Puneet@ bingo yes the tuition fee  on higher side later on... :-)

Puneet

Very good work!!!

then also Amity very expensive? not sure!!

No ... In fact I'll be sending my son to AISV-6   ;-)

Just highlighting that looking at the initial amounts of both schools, I was under the impression that DPS-I is around 30% expensive as compared to AISV-6 ....

But that is not the case now ... based on detailed analysis ... ;-)

Puneet, Yash, Kamaljeet

Good work by Puneet. however, I would still say DPSI is expensive than AISV-6 per below calculations :

(DPSI one time charges) minus (AISV6 one time charges) = 44k

This 44k is compensated in approx 3 years by DPSI :

[{( 31,000- 18700) *3 } + {( 17380 - 16280)*4}] *3 = 44/46k

And who knows , in this world of frequent job change, whether we would be able to continue with one location or not , and consequently one school or not !!

Additionally, in case you are bound to change the school after a year, in DPSI , one will loose 66 K but only 22k in AISV6.

My kid is selected for AISV6 and I am going to freeze it.
