Please let me the form filling date for nursery admission for me kid who is 4 years old n all the related information

Let the guidelines come from DOE next month since they may fix age limit for nursery admission.

@nidhi..if the child is 4+as on 31st march 2015, it wud be very difficult to have nursery admission sought as the age as per 90% schools is 3+for nursery n 4+for KG.
Der are numerous schools like tagore international,birla vidya niketan,laxman public, ramjas who wud not even let parents apply in case d child is 4+ which is pathetic n insane however I faced this last year n den got admission in KG for my daughter.
I wud recommend u to fill forms for both nursery nd KG in atleast 20 schools at your proximity n keep ur fingers crossed..best of luck!

Thanks shantanu for the advice dear but again my kid is in pre nursery at present then opting for KG will it be a good decision skipin one level....please help

Also i had hrd that for KG there will be an interview for kid n parents ...dont 9 wht they ask for the same

Nidhi...if you are again going to admit your child in kg..then i would say go for that school who has the senior branches also...first of all personal suggestion..no need to waste one year of your child..you can find some school where child can get admission in +4 also.. you will have to find out for that..search in google...or start finding from now onwards..start calling at school admin..for +4 criteria...something will be there...

@vikram..as on date no school wud entertain any queries regarding admissions so no point approachinh d schools. n dere are many schools which wud allow 4+child to apply for nursery(dps, bloom, heritage, bhatnagar, gd goenka) in south delhi and like last year many of the seats wud be filled through lottery system which brings luck into place.
@Nidhi..der is no provision if interview of d child or parents for KG admission n in case any school follows such unethical n unfair means same shud b brought to d notice of mr vohra n an.com team n complaint wud be registered as was done in last few years n trust me when d parent community, media along with support from an.com goes after erring by schools, d complaint is taken care of.
As of now it's wait n watch time for all d parents till new guidelines comes into place which is absolutely unlikely before 1st week of dec..so don't stress too much n just b a regular on d forum.

Upper cut off age of 4 yrs is for nursery is proposed DOE but not approved yet By LG. so wait n watch.

Most of the schools consider depending on vacany. Give applications in all desired schools as its Hush hush affair in many schoolssee last year school who posted on website.
As per LG guidelines Criteria was same from 3yrs to 6 yrs old but not all schools followed it.
