Is there any specific guideline for the distance criteria?

Upto how much distance they will consider in the point system.

Please clarify this point.

interestingly enough, every one is competing for only 25% of the seats available. rest all seem to be reserved.

new schools wont have 20% sibling and 5 % alumni cases so those seats will go to gen cat ( without sibling and alumni)

little confusion...schools are under NPSC..n then some are under ACTION committee...
n then minority school...

so basically all these will follow same guideline given by action committee earlier suggested by pSC...am I right...confused

NPSC - Points allotted based on certain criteria

AC- Percentage of seats allotted / limited to certain criteria.

@Lathaa:  Is this correct? NPSC and Action Committee (Unaided Private Recognised Schools) are different? I thought NPSC was a member of AC?  Please see Member No.6 on AC's website (http://www.actcommittee.com/index.html ).  Also, on http://www.npscindia.com/ they have given similar criteria in their Dec 3rd press release, haven't they?

Whatever may be we have to follow the admission criteria of each school and check out since so many association within.

NPSC is part of Action committee thatwhy thye have same calender
