Get a community certificate for Jain Minority Certificate from authorized person.

Hi Saakshi,

I am also Jain and will be applying to springdales for my daughter's admission. I called up the headmistress of the school and she told me that there is no such certificate required to prove that we are a minority. The birth certificate of the child and the Id proof of the parent will suffice to showcase that the child belong to the minority community.

YOU WILL GET IT FROM JAIN MAHA SANG

It's a good option and a valid proof.

Even though minority commission has suggested for a Jain Minority certificate from Tahsildar from revenue department it seems they have not started issuing the same.

In this case you certificate mentioning Religion as JAIN such as TC of yours, Birth Certificate of the child as a parent has confirmed here from a school will be sufficient proof. But it can be school specific and confirm with the respective schools.

what to do as i belong to a family wherein mom is from a sikh family n father from a non sikh punjabi family, how to get minority community certification, plz help

I am Geeta Girdher sikh family and my husband Amit Khanduja, non sikh, can we get points in springdales

For Sikh community

Go to Delhi Sikh gurudwara management committee's office at Gurudwara Rakab ganj sahib, take along with you 2 photos of child with 1 photo of father, residence proof. go to room no. 18 on ground floor, then from there they will guide you to room no. 21 and then room no. 23 on first floor.

The timings are 3 pm to 5 pm weekdays, reach there by 3 because there is rush of parents making Sikh Minority certificates. The whole process takes around 25-30 mins. Remember they would want that child should be accompanied by both mother and father. However there is no involvement of mother anywhere in the process.
