No you can not, better to register with this name & change it at later stage.

You should apply with the same name as per BC and change later through Gazette notification.

HELLO

Even we were faced with the same problem.As per govt rules once the name is written ,you can never get that change.

But you can get another name printed on the same.

You can apply for an affidavit that my daughter has two names ,one is her nick name and her real name is what you intend to write now.

The affidavit along with the written application by you, and address proof to be submitted to MCD office and you get a new certificate with both names in a week .

PREVIOUS NAME alias New Name

All da best..dis is for all confused parents like us who keep changing their child's name...lol

you need to get the name changed in the birth certificate...
