Management Seat in VIS and Indraprastha

Hi all,

Can anybody share details about the management quota seats in VIS and Indraprastha. Someone is telling that all the management quota seats in both these schools have got fulfilled.

Management quota fulfilled? I doubt it. Even general seats in most schools may not be fulfilled as we can see many parents here have got many choices.

In VIS a parent informed Rs.40,000 quarterly fee this year for preschool.

I had visited VIS last week to submit application for grant of MQ seat. The application was not even accepted and i was asked for 3L for management seat. Does anyone else have any latest news about the school? I somehow feel, it is a high amount and i am reluctant in paying this and later on the fees is also on a higher side.

Dear Parents, please pitch in with your views and suggestions. Should i go ahead and take the plunge or wait for the second list to come out?

Jaspreet, Please ask yourself. Why are you so desperate to get your child admitted to VIS? Agreeing to pay Lacs in Donation for admission into a school for a 3 year old is definitely desperation. The answer to your question lies with you. No one else can answer it correctly. All the best.

Thanks for the prompt reply Rakesh and your honest views. I agree, this is nothing but desperation.

Actually, i had filled about 25 schools in and around Dwarka, but have got shortlisted in none. We stay in Janakpuri.

Out of the schools who are offering Management seats, i find VIS carrying the best reputation.

Do you think it is a good idea to wait till second list and see how things turn out with respect to the management seats?

Jaspreet, What is second List? VIS has a wait list of 10 applicants. Are you one amongst these 10? Because it is nearly impossible that even these 10 WL will get a chance.
