St.Thomas is a school of good reputation and you can block your seat rather than trying for management seats.

Well trained teachers, engaging curriculum which makes children to think independently and student teacher ratio are the important aspects in deciding the quality of education. But few schools make money using posh look and facilities provided by them like A/C , LCD, Smart board as best infrastructure. Few school come up with a highest price tag as they know their demand.

It is the ignorance of the parents who spend in lakhs to get a seat just for reputation of a school.

RTE Act in prohibition of Capitation fees is as follows

13. No capitation fee and screening procedure for admission.-

1.     No school or person shall, while admitting a child, collect any capitation fee and subject the child or his or her parents or guardian to any screening procedure.

2.     Any school or person, if in contravention of the provisions of sub-section (1),--

a.     receives capitation fee, shall be punishable with fine which may extend to ten times the capitation fee charged;

b.    subjects a child to screening procedure, shall be punishable with fine which may extend to twenty-five thousand rupees for the first contravention and fifty thousand rupees for each subsequent contraventions

Go for st Thomas it's a good school rather wasting money on donation. The money will help in your child's future.

I visited the school few days ago and not very impressed with the location. I found this link on google while browsing reviews of ST Thomas. and got really scared .I can't say what the truth was or is but the news is very old ..

Same mishappening happened in Maxfort School too recently. School Principal and management should be accountable for security of child in school and follow new safety and security guidelines set up by CBSE.

My intention is not defame anyone/any org. plz don't take it wrong. I am also looking for admission for daughter and have applied in there too. I agree that these things can happen anywhere, however these things make us more conscious towards safety and security of our kids.

It's our view which decides anything to be good or bad. Like the thing that I liked the most about STS is its location and space it has. Never forget the fee they are asking for. It is quite justified for what they are providing.

I am confused as most of parents including our 3 yrs old star member(Sandeep Pal) from Dwarka are giving positive reviews of ST Thomas Dwarka except it location.

I would like everyone to clarify as only negative given by  parents, rest all positives.

Sakshi ji I think you took me wrong as I have praised the school. Infact there will hardly be anyone who would say that we don't want to give our child a healthy environment. The country side location and healthy environment is the usp of this school.

No i meant you were very positive ,but me not being a resident of Dwarka, I have read it so much time that i remember  GOYLA VIHAR.:)

@Sandep Pal , Pls clear parents  n my doubt as i remember max post by you as only negative is its location rest you gave positive reviews always.

Okay but u know the definition of good differs from man to man.
Actually I know STS very well.
Since I belong to the same field I can assure everyone that the examination system of this school is quite good.

I am not sure whether you are aware or not , when asked from some EXPERT  famous worlrd wide.

What makes the three imp things in any campus or property you must see?

He replied

LOCATION LOCATION AND LOCATION.

I want to make it sure no parent should avoid  St Thomas due to conflicting remarks and i want clarity from all parents.

As we give same inputs and if my info is wrong i don't have the right to be Moderator :)
