Strongly agree with this ! Its good for those parents who are being called (out of queue), but pretty unfair and non-transparent overall.
Schools can obviously show (these phone calls and subsequent admissions) in the guise of management seats, which is at their discretion, and looks ok too, as long as they are not taking any capitation fees for the same.
But if they are allotting general quota seats in this manner, by calling up selected parents, its illegal and defeats the purpose of 2nd/3rd lists and so on.
At the end of exercise, the line blurs between general and mgmt quota admissions. But surely an audit must be carried out, of at least the general seats, that whoever got the admission, went through the sequential flow of draw and waiting list, rather than via these adhoc calls.

Our founder Mr Sumit Vohra after getting complaints from parents highlighted in media today.
Some schools where parents got confirm admission are asking for Donation and some schools like every years asking for Donation.Also parents with only one Twin getting selected in some schools.

Mr Vohra has been representing parent community of Delhi NCR and has got many big school show cause notice or to change the admission criteria in previous years.
I remember he got fresh Fee refund circular reissued, when many school were refusing to refund the fees and giving excuse that fee refund circular is old and not valid.
He is one man army !!
