Hi.

My Husband and I been there and it seems the School is still in very early stage.. all around construction and Reception was full of Labours and Contrractors.. not actual school staff.. So.. I was bit tensed to see the enviroment.. It will take at least 2 more years to be a school...

Hi parents,

I understand your predicament since this is a new school and you are wondering how good this would be for my child!! The success of any institution to get highlighted is a natural course of 5 years.

GIIS Noida was launched this year April 2012. Baring summer holidays, the school has been on for the last 3 months odd but these few months have been enough for parents to feel the way their children are learning. For GIIS the biggest proof to quality education has always been testimonial of the parents. It is no magic but a tried and tested established methodology that has been globally developed over the last decade.

As far as construction work is concerned, the building is coming up in phases. The pre- primary and primary wing was ready for 2012 session, the admin block is up. Currently work is going on for multipurpose hall, auditorium, activity rooms and labs. The functioning of the school is not disturbed and extreme caution is practiced to ensure that labourers are not found anywhere in the operational areas. The entries and exits are cordoned off to ensure safety and smooth operation. The school will be ready by December and the grounds should be ready by April when the new session starts.

There is admission staff to assist any parents with necessary information on visit and the teaching staff is present on alternate Saturdays and also on days slated for mock interviews. I am surprised at Borky's comment that there was no real school staff. Contractors have a separate entry to admin areas and are definitely not entertained at the reception or school area.
Being a new school, infrastructure is taking a little time, but the progress is fast paced. The identity and success of a school depends on a greater vision, knowledge of the sector and experience. while GIIS is new in NOida, It is not new in the line of schooling and is probably the only school chain in Asia that can boast of 17 international and national awards for education excellence. Two years will not be needed to establish its credentials but it is only the cosmetic changes of the building that is under process.
