84 already selected from sibling/alumni

Most of them are girl child like 99%

that was the known criteria at start of draw - it was ALL girls in DPS EOK/RKP

the reason is -

kids with 60 points and above (i.e. alumni sibling) were 84 in number and automatically selected

only 6 seats remained and went to the draw pool

and draw of lots was for next set of 639 kids with 55 points (50 distance + 5 girl child)

so, unfortunately, boys (non-sibling/non-alumni) didnt stand a chance here...

you may see only a couple of boys in the selected list - those actually are the twin brothers (of 50 points) whose sisters got selected at 55 points

I think it was today. Candidates were emailed about the DoL. I know this from another parent (we weren’t shortlisted).
